  • Thanks πŸ˜‚ Come to a bit of an impasse at the moment though so I could be here for some time.......
  • Sitting on the loo trying to take my first πŸ’© in 5 days 😨
  • Thanks for posting that Tinkerbellang83, I've finally got my TDEE at last! I've used so many online calculators, all with really differing results. I'll stick with this one now πŸ‘πŸ˜Š
  • It depends on what size egg you're talking about and how accurate the entry is. If in doubt, I always check here..... https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/show/01123?fgcd=&manu=&format=&count=&max=25&offset=&sort=default&order=asc&qlookup=egg+raw&ds=&qt=&qp=&qa=&qn=&q=&ing=
  • Our pool is on our complex, only 20 houses and only 4 of those with children but those 12-14 kids can blooming well hog the pool all day 😀 I wish our residents chair would say something about the pool being for everyone but......
  • That's really good progress, well done you! πŸ‘πŸ‘ Last summer I was in the pool about 3 times a week but almost every time it was full of splashing, bombing bloody kids so I couldn't really get any lengths in. This time I plan to get in there at least twice a day, starting as early as I can (before the sodding kids get up πŸ˜‚)
  • I won't be swimming to lose weight, as I said, I'm looking forward to the extra calories that it will "buy" me πŸ˜€
  • Just a quick update for anyone that's still following 😊 I didn't have any luck yesterday but this morning was good πŸ˜„ I've stuck to the higher calories and I know it's only been a couple of days but I'm 2lbs down now and my measurements have shifted just a tiny bit in the right direction πŸ‘‡ Thank you again for all the well…
  • Thanks everyone, I'm taking it all on board πŸ‘ I managed to eat all my calories yesterday and slept a lot better. Also, I'm feeling "stirrings", I hope there might be movement after another cup of tea 🀞
  • Thank you. I had an issue with awful constipated after chemo, he gave me laxatives but I won't take them because I've abused tgem terribly in the past. I just thought tbat lots of fibre and plenty of fluids would keep things moving but as a PP said before, if there's not a lot going in, there won't be much coming out.
  • Thank you πŸ‘ although I can't stick to 1220 calories if it means feeling awful all the time so, like I said before, I'm aiming for 1350 plus 50% of any exercise calories earned and see how I feel with that.
  • So:- Feb' 26 - 134.4lbs March 6 - 127.1lbs March 14 - 124.4lbs March 18 - 125.6lbs March 21 - 124.4lbs March 23 - 124.4lbs
  • Oh, and I realise that I made a mistake about my weight; it was first at 124.4lbs on 14th NOT 6th March, so not such a quick drop. It was 127lb on 6th March
  • To be honest I just want to go to bed 😁 Too much sun and food have tired me out today 😴😁
  • Sorry, I've been out for most of the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who's posted, I wasn't looking for or expecting such great support 😍 I've eaten 50% of my new calorie allowance so far and I'm so full but I'm determined to eat the rest before bed 😊
  • Thank you again πŸ€— They really would not be interested. There's quite a big obesety problem here so "slim" is ideal and as I'm within the healthy weight range I can see them laughing at me. I try not to weigh & measure myself more than once a week (due to the former anorexia) but out of curiosity I've just done it - still…
  • I'll talk to my onco at the appointment but to be honest they're only ever interested in anything cancer related. Feel depressed - "take a walk and smile". Feel suicidal - "I know, I feel the same. Life is too busy". That was when I was on a different A.I., it was horrible! I tend only to talk about my treatment plan now 😞
  • Firstly, thank you πŸ’ Yes, the chemo put me in early menopause but, luckily, I don't think I've suffered many of the usual side effects. My medication also inhibits oestrogen production. I haven't seen my oncologist since I started this. I'll mention it when I have my checkup.
  • I drink black tea - about 2 - 2.5 litres worth a day. I'm due my 3 month oncology check-up in a week or so - I'll have urine and full bloods tests done. Would an electrolyte imbalance show up then?
  • Thank you for that πŸ‘ Maybe I could try those rehydration powders to balance the electrolytes?
  • Hunger I can cope with (many years of ED experience behind me πŸ˜”). I don't mind hunger but I don't want to feel this awful. Ive just jiggled with my goals and if I wanted to maintain I'd get 1460 calories. Take off 250 calories for a 0.5lbs/week loss = 1210. Only 10 calories less than my settings now. And it's not going…
  • Also, I should add that the carbs I do get are mainly from vegetables - I haven't eaten bread/rice or pasta since I started. I make a big pot of white bean and vegetable soup and that lasts me a week for my main meal. The rest is lower fat natural yoghurt, rye flakes, fruit (fresh & dried), lower fat dry curd cottage…
  • Thank you but I don't feel small πŸ˜” I don't want to lose too much, 119lbs is my goal (for now) but it's just not going any lower than the 124.4lbs. This may be a bit TMI but I'm only having 1 pooh a week since starting, even though I get plenty of fibre and I drink a minimum of 3 litres each day, so it's not dehydration…
  • For the past week I've tried to lower my carbs and up my protein but it's difficult as I don't have easy, affordable access to high protein/lower calorie foods. With only 1220 calories to "spend" I'm struggling to find the right balance. I eat mainly vegetarian as meat/fish/eggs etc. are quite expensive for us here in…
  • OP, our UK sizes are different to US and Canadian so don't feel disheartened by PPs saying they're wearing size 4/6/8 πŸ˜‚ I'm 5' 4" (an interloper 😁) and was about 10.5-11 stone in a size 12 if that's any help πŸ‘
  • Aha! Now I know what the "*kitten*" means that I often see on posts πŸ˜‚
  • There's loads of calorie dense "healthy" foods! 😁 But just because you're trying to lose weight doesn't mean you can only eat broccoli or other vegetables. So long as what you eat fits into your calorie goal you can eat anything. I'm set on 1220 calories per day - today I had a small Mars Bar and 70g of Doritos amongst…
  • I log my water and usually it's 3 - 3.5 litres a day.
  • Sorry, when I said any yoghurt I was referring to fat content, not style of yoghurt.
  • Is your bread entered in your recipe maker? If so it's quite easy to log it as an ingredient. Go to your bread recipe and it'll show the full nutritional values. Screenshot that. Go to My Foods and log your bread with the values from your recipe page. Now you can use the bread as an ingredient in your French toast dish πŸ‘
