Utter nonsense. Food suddenly becomes evil simply because it’s in a package?

I’m guessing the calorie burn should similar to any other stationary bike. Does the gadget have a calorie indicator in the display?

I have no idea what that thing is. Can you set a resistance level on it?

10,000 steps on a treadmill with incline set at 5 (out of 15).

                Define “healthy”

STOP READING ARTICLES! Seriously folks, these have zero credibility, and *anyone* can get them published.

While I was actively losing weight I would ignore up and down “spikes” and focus only on the long-term average. I had my weight loss rate in MFP set at 1lb/week and lost 60 pounds in 60 weeks. Exactly as calculated. But if you look at my graph week to week there are some pretty crazy swings. I once lost 5 pounds over 5…

Great. Just what the world needs. More BS articles by eggheads with nothing better to do.
-
Solution: don’t read articles. Most of them are BS and anyone can get them published.

                False.

Be careful with One Protein Bars, they contain sugar alcohols.

If you’re using an unsafe method of losing weight, you can count on this thread getting locked.

What is “successful” food? For that matter what is “healthy” food?

I looked at a bunch of charts that show the ideal weight for age, height, and sex. Those were all over the place so I calculated my own average and a reasonable range above and below that. For me, the result is 157-162 pounds.

Burn more calories than you eat.

In general biking burns more calories than walking because you are moving your own weight plus the weight of the bicycle over a given distance.

Not all Quest bars have sucralose. I think the double chocolate chunk flavor doesn’t have it. That one and chocolate brownie are my favorite flavors. I’ve had a Quest Bar for breakfast every day for the last 4 years.

So... if you eat only healthy food you’ll be immortal?

                Well said, Kim! Beautifully concise.

What prompted you to ask the question? Let me guess, something you read?

Rubbish. Total couch potato here. Lost 60 pounds, hit my goal weight 3 years ago, been maintaining ever since.

                So don’t “diet”.

I highly recommend y’all give Zevia a try. All flavors are zero calorie, some have caffeine if you want that. And none have artificial colors. I discovered it when I was looking for a non calorie grape soda. The only downside, it’s pretty expensive compared to regular pop. But when on sale, 67 cents per can.

My sister has had 2 eggs for breakfast *every* day for 15 years and her cholesterol numbers are perfect.

                New meat flavored M&Ms?

Still waiting for a definition of “healthy”.

Onion rings dipped in peanut butter and hot fudge.

Yep, drink it all the time. Lately I’ve been drinking Zevia (uses stevia sweetener). They have lots of flavors. The grape, black cherry, and ginger root beer are great. Kind of expensive though.
