Excellent, thank you.

Awesome, thanks. That makes perfect sense.

Well yesterday I started and I pushed through with relative ease to do the whole 20 minutes at one time. Not bad really. Felt like I could go 10 more but didn't want to push it. 30 minutes would be ideal I think though.
-
Oh my god I fear this all the time with my glass top scale. I always think what a mess this would make and you confirmed it. I love my scale too so really don't want anything to happen to it.
-
Exactly, I'm just trying to burn extra calories not run a marathon or bike to the next state over.
-
That's funny you mention this because that's how I walk. I walk and run intermittent. I walk for 10 minutes, then run for 5 and then repeat over and over for 30-40 minutes. Can't wait for spring so I can go back to that.
-
I do the same thing. I always estimate higher.
-
I don't get it? What was flagged as I am the OP and have not seen anything offensive at all? Been a great discussion I thought.
-
Exactly, us either. Its just an added side effect. Its motivation to keep going and keep it off.
-
On a comical sense it is nice to be able to see it without a mirror. 🤣 This is the best side effect that I didn't even think of when I started to lose weight. It just didn't enter my mind or thought process because I was focused on other things related to losing weight like fitting into nice clothes again and not looking…
-
No prob. I was too chicken to bring it up before but I really wanted people's thoughts on the subject.
-
Yes, if people who lost weight like me, I'm guilty of this, if we were honest with other overweight people we could use this as a motivator. Your sex life will increase, become REALLY GREAT and your certain something will get bigger or look bigger and will work better. It took me a bit to word that in a PG manner. :D
-
Thank you, I appreciate that. I wanted to know what others thought so bad but how do you ask people that? Ya don't, but I got the answers here.
-
My dad had this and it really wasn't a fun thing for him. I mean he didn't complain much but it wasn't a great thing. Awful disease.
-
Oh that's another thing. Lasting much longer, better quality for both. Wife is much happier.
-
Excellent info guys, appreciate it. I'm just glad I lost weight for a whole host of reasons, this just being one.
-
I wince in the morning when I step on the scale until I see the number which is always pretty good because I count and watch everything. Mindless eating days, OVER! I love my scale, Eat Smart ESBS-01 is the model number. Its glass and its a trooper.
-
All good, scale is fine. Today was a different and down number, 201.6, which I was an little surprised about bring Thanksgiving and all. I have had desert the last 2 days. My wife's brownies are just incredible. 😁 Only one each day though so not going overboard. 😂
-
Yeah i think my scale is fine. I did go through the calibration just for fun. I'm usually anywhere between 200 and 203. It is the holiday season so I'll be happy if I'm the same come January. After that i make a push to my final goal weight of 190/185.
-
Good idea, I had to calibrate it quite a while back but haven't since. It's a bit of a pain but I probably should. Thanks.
-
Oh I think this is a good idea. I do have my old belt which I had to make several holes in so I could keep using it. I made at least 3 holes in it. I have it somewhere. Thanks for the suggestion.

I had peanut butter on Ritz crackers yesterday and it was glorious. Peanut butter is amazing stuff.
-
Thanks, and yeah that's why I'm a little annoyed with myself for not taking some measurements before starting to lose weight but ya know in the beginning you are just focused on losing weight. Its like tunnel vision so I didn't think of it. It was weight lower=good. My jeans are definitely not by the same manufacturer.
-
My weight fluctuates like crazy. Last weekend on Saturday I was 200.2 and Sunday 202.2 and then Monday 203.2. Man it's annoying especially when goal weight is so close at 190. Yesterday I was 203.2 and today 202.6. Its crazy this stuff.
-
Today back down to 200.8 and I hate to say it, I like that much better than seeing 203.2. 😁 I really have to make an effort to take in less sodium on the weekends. That's where your all happens, I watch what I eat but it seems I take in more sodium which messes with the numbers.
-
Thanks, I will read that. I started reading it and will finish it. Very interesting subject.
-
Yes, when I started weighing every day and when I started to notice so this crazy stuff. I didn't start weighing every day till I was down 60 pounds down.
-
And this morning 201.8 so I guess the sodium effect is going down. That sodium is a weird one that can annoy with the scale.
-
Thanks, my next question was gonna be how long before its out of the system. You answered that. Sodium really sucks.
-
Yes exactly what I was going through. It seems to have cleared up.
