  • 11 pounds! Holy cow got 60 bucks. Good job.
  • Absolutely love this new scale. Less bulky and light. My old one was so heavy and now I realize bulky because this one is more compact. Seems more accurate too.
  • I ordered the Accucheck scale by Greater goods. Amazon same day delivery and I would like it so I could weigh myself tomorrow. Said it'll be here today by 10PM. It's just a weight scale which I think is really all I need. I will drive myself crazy with all those other numbers of all those other metrics. Let's confusion the…
  • Yeah I'm not sure actually. The one I have now is just weight, nothing else. I'm seeing ones that track all kinds of things like BMI. I'm kinda in-between if I need or want that. I see Fitbit ones that seem interesting but again I don't know if I need or want to track everything. Thanks.
  • Yeah motivation to not go back to what I was is there. When I put in my 38 jeans I think back to when I had to shop at the fat store and get pants that were made for an elephant. Long story short we were going on a cruise and when we first boarded I decided to go up the stairs because the elevators are just nuts when first…
  • This i could not agree more with! Yes to all of that, good enough, normal clothes, not the fattest person in the room. That was spot on. I still want that last 20 but that was right on.
  • Thank you for the suggestion. It's so weird because obviously I know what to do, I learned a freaking lot losing 75 pounds or so but just not putting it all together to lose the last 20. I weigh every morning when I wake up. I just have to put my mind up it, and do it, just do it, like Nike.
  • Excellent info guys, excellent posts, thanks. I weigh each morning but sometimes when I get home from work at around 4 in the afternoon I will myself just before I step in the shower and I'm often 2 pounds lower than the morning or the same. Now I have a very physical job so I'm thinking it's all the calories I burn…
  • Yes I have found this also. Just expecting to be up and I was down. That is a perfect example because I ate way late and had wedding cake at 10 o'clock at night.
  • Thanks guys, it is fascinating to me. Makes me wish I weighed myself everyday back when I was 75 pounds heavier and ate whatever throughout the day. I wonder what the swings were then? But I'll never know now.
  • Well I must say I went a little overboard for lunch, we ended up ordering a dessert that was split 3 ways. It's Sunday, and that is my little over the top day. I don't go crazy, but just much less strict on Sundays. By the way I'm down some 75 pounds from 272 to 197. Goal is 180. I'm close, just trying to get this last…
  • Sorry, I had no idea "weight loss world" was a bad thing. Let's call it, healthy way of eating world, skipping meals is frowned upon in general. I'm doing this today, but do rarely if ever do it. It's a once in a while thing to me.
  • Here is the game I used play all the time before I finally lost weight. I would make up my mind, I'm gonna lose weight this time. And then I would think, if I lose 2 pounds a week, that's 8 pounds a month, "this is gonna take forever". Then I would say 3 pounds a week, "oh it's gonna take forever to get down to 200". I…
  • Daily every morning and I like it. Its just you have to put in to perspective what you are seeing on the scale. You can't get too high or low with every number. That is why weighing everyday is not for everyone. I could see it setting people off if they see a number or numbers over a few days they do not like. Sometimes…
  • Its all good, I fixed it. I had my phone replaced so I guess it was working because of that even though it says it was connected. No idea, but it's back to working now.
  • Yeah there is a lag but mine hasn't added anything in over a month.
  • I'm using smoothies as my snack after dinner at around 7 PM. And yeah I'm watching very closely what is going in and the calories. Its just for a snack at the end of the night. Thanks guys.
  • Sounds delicious!
  • It certainly does feel good. It's a whole new world. I'm not embarrassed on a daily basis anymore. I wasn't so much embarrassed by the weight itself more of when people saw me they saw someone that can't control himself. They saw someone that has no discipline and could not stop stuffing his face. That was the…
  • Thank you very much. Hopefully by Summer and hopefully with vaccines we will have a "summer".
  • It's just awesome, every morning 100 something, no 200 something. You're going to love it each and every morning!
  • Thank you everyone. I'm proof that just about anyone can lose weight because I was freaking hopeless and then something clicked, something snapped and here we are. Just 14 or so pounds to my ultimate goal. Good luck to anyone trying to lose weight, it is not easy but can be done.
  • I still have a little bit of belly I want to get rid of which is why I want to be 180. Just this little bit of belly. Thanks for the post, the numbers really don't lie like you said.
  • Yes, just as active, same job.
  • But I was at 2,000 to 2,200 for a year and stayed the same, 199-205 fluctuations. That had to be maintenance no?
  • At work we walk a ton, life heavy equipment, swing hammers, all kinds of physical labor.
  • I'm only 5' 7" but I have an extremely physical job. I take anywhere from 10,000 steps a day to 20,000 steps a day. The reason I know where my maintenance calories are is because for over a year I was at. I was consuming 2,000-2,200 calories a day and fluctuated between 199 and 205 from June last year to August this year…
  • Thank you, I appreciate that. It really is some crazy journey I will say that. I actually like shopping for clothes now. 🤣 It's nice to fit into nice clothes and not have it look like crap. Let's just say everything is better now.
  • Thank you for the advice, appreciate it. It's gonna take a while to get this last 14 pounds off that's for sure. I basically did maintenance for a year so I know what that is and how to do that. That's the good news. When I get to 180 I will know that to do. Eye on the prize right now.
  • Thank you. I guess I should have posted this is the success stories section, sorry.
