  • Thanks guys, I feel guilty or maybe slightly nervous is it puts me up close to my fat count for the day. That's the only reason. Thanks for all the responses.
  • I'm doing ok I'd say. Not great, not terrible, could be worse. Tomorrow we go back to our regular foods.
  • Thank you, I think it'll be fine but yeah sodium has to be sky high. I'm doing a ton of walking, not using the elevators just walking and talking the stairs. That has to help, 13,000-15,000 steps plus up and down stairs.
  • Yeah I hear ya. I think I was down 50 pounds and people were still telling how to lose weight plus they were things that are myths or I know to be wrong. Boy it annoys me.
  • Here is something that annoys me. You are losing weight, you could have lost 30 pounds already. You have a plan on place that you comfortable with and it's working. And someone still tries to tell you how to lose weight? They tell you you to do this or that. Eat this or that. I don't know that just annoys me.
  • Honestly my draw dropped. Excellent job, just stunning. So happy for you!
  • Interesting answers guys, appreciate it. That's weigh in was actually better than I expected too.😁 8 more pounds to go. Started at 272.6, now at 199.8 with a goal of 190. 190 will finally get me out of the BMI "obese" category to just overweight. BMI is mostly BS to me but would still like to be out of the obese category…
  • That isn't out of control? The smaller spoon is what I use, I guess tablespoon is the word?
  • My weakness when I was extremely overweight was everything. Now or since I've been eating right is peanut butter. Sometimes I can't control myself with it and have 2 spoon fills. It's just about the greatest tasting food ever!
  • Exactly, same thing with me. There is no way bananas are bad for you. I mean it just is common sense to me. A lot of eating right is common sense, for the most part you don't need a PHD.
  • No I do, I just discount that it puts me over on sugar sometimes.
  • I eat 3 bananas a day, I do not count them or don't care about the sugar from them. Natural sugar and I don't care about it. That's just my take on that.
  • Great job on the 20, a and you can get there the other pounds off. All I know is for us it's just really incredible. We went from a bad 1 day a week session to an absolutely incredible 3-4 times a week. I can't tell you how much better quality it is. It's hard to put into words. All I know is I should have done this year's…
  • Well yes and no. Weight loss comes primarily from eating right, being in a caloric deficit. Walking helps and helped me feel healthier and I believe it helped me lose weight to a certain degree. I walk my condo complex and it's very hilly so it's a pretty good workout. I do intermittent jogging to now. I'll walk the first…
  • That is the one question I don't hate it but I kinda do because it's such a let down the answer. It's just like the OP said, eating right, exercise. You can't duplicate exactly what I'm doing because it just didn't work like that. It really is the biggest let down answer though.
  • Well I notice a lot of things but this one in particular is my favorite. I drive trucks for a living and the truck I'm assigned sometimes the steering wheel is extremely close to the seat. Can't change it either. You can get closer but not go back. It's an oddly designed truck cab. Anyway my fat belly used to rub on it…
  • Gained weight? How do you know you gained weight as in fat? On Saturday I was 200 exactly even, Sunday I was 201.8, Monday 202.4 and that 202.6. I'm not worried about it. It's just normal fluctuations. Happens all the time.
  • Thank you and I could not agree more.
  • I have the same kinda problem coming up. Gonna be on a cruise the end of the month and that will be tough. I'm just gonna do the best I can with estimating and making as many good decisions as I can. Sometimes I will slip because we are on vacation. Good luck to you.
  • I started out 2 times a week, Monday and Friday. Monday I called "the real weigh in" and Monday was to monitor how I did through the weekend. I know, a bit kooky. Then I when I was down 60 pounds I switched to every day. I bought in to the "the more data the better" argument and I have to agree now. I LOVE weighing in…
  • Actually no ironically.
  • Guys I don't talk about losing weight everyday with people, in fact rarely and only if asked about it. I hate preachy people. Also I always tell people what worked for me probably won't work for someone else. It's kinda a plan you figure for yourself, what you like and what works for you. Kinda why I don't like following…
  • Where did I say I wanted a congratulations? All in saying is not too acknowledge it at all is kinda odd. I don't want adulation or about. It's just odd that everyone has said something except one person.
  • To not even mention hey good job losing weight is a bit odd. It's not 5 pounds, it's 73 pounds, especially when everyone there has talked about it. The sabotage thing or tempting thing is more like this. Leaving food, junk food directly where I sit. You don't think that is sabotage? Or every time there are chips they say…
  • Thanks guys, I knew I want the only one. It's pretty crazy.
  • I noticed it when I was down 10-12. I could tell, I could feel it but I don't think anyone else could. Another great question is when did other people notice? When was the first comment or compliment? I think I was down 20 pounds and I got a comment at work. At 30 I got another great compliment.
  • Oh great thread subject. 9 more pounds till my goal of 190 from starting at 272. I see these peanut butter Oreos every single week when we go grocery shopping and I have been saying for months and months now when I get to my goal weight I'm buying a box of those and eating about 10 of them.
  • I am absolutely freezing this morning. I mean this is real trouble for the winter if I'm this cold in summer still. :'(
  • Believe me I know exactly what you mean. Its almost like being born again, your a new person almost.
  • Awesome job! That is hard to do, work out that much.
