Vegetarian, cut out dairy and eggs this year. Trade bread and pasta for chickpeas and lentils. I occasionally eat pitta or wraps, but avoid loafs. Just too many easy carbs.

Fitness and weight loss can be fast but it's gradual so can be hard to gauge. Keep filling in your diary and recording your weight and you'll see your trend.

I have a strength/cardio random routine with one rest day. I found more success with short frequent work outs as opposed to spending hours in a gym. Put a pull up bar in your house and do one everytime you walk under it.

When you start losing weight the first chunk is visceral fat. Your weight goes down, your waist goes down, but you still look the same in the mirror. Especially if it's gradual weight loss. After that it's harder to lose weight, but every pound you lose is visible. You get toned and discover muscles that have been hidden.…
