I've always felt like there are two ways of looking at it - daily calories and weekly calories. Maybe having a map / idea of weekly calories on paper or in an app would help in terms of flexibility. It has worked for me!

I think this is true in many ways. On the other hand, I don't necessarily related getting up early with being sleep deprived. Thats interesting because when I look at my trends historically, I am seeing a similar pattern. It makes sense, if you are well reseted and recovered then you are going to have less stress on the body. Also - I love sleep!
