I have similar experience with dexa. I am relatively thin and dexa was showing about 40% bf in Android region. I did scan at two different machines n they both show similar results. Losing weight is relatively easy as you just have to maintain caloric deficit. Losing body fat percentage is very tricky. Sharing my experience with bf machines....I did Tanita and DEXA within one week maintaining similar conditions (morning no food, similar water intake). i have 6.4lbs of lean mass and 4.2lbs of fat in android region. visceral fat is 1.9lb. it might be visceral fat contributing to higher android fat percentage.
