I read an article today that the FDA just approved Impossible for grocery store sales so if you can’t find it yet hopefully it will get to a local grocery store for you soon.

Drop all the fats if you can. Keto is more about the absence of carbs, not an abundance of fat. I eat almonds as my primary fat source. I try to avoid any animal fats. Good rule of thumb for fat - if it’s solid at room temperature than you probably shouldn’t be eating it. Good luck in your journey!

@Danp Agreed. 3 - 4 weeks is a much better time frame to try out the diet but I always assume most ppl are as impatient as I am. @MikePTY Only comment I would make is that a person won’t know if they are a good candidate for long term success unless they it. Before I started keto I thought I would hate it and fail…

Try it for a week and see if you like it. Any diet that creates a caloric deficit will cause weight loss. Personally I love the keto diet and have had great results. 34 lbs in 6 months.

I’ve been following a modified Keto diet for the last 6 months. Still low carb but I prioritize protein over fat so that my usual macronutrient allocation is around 50% protein, 35% fat, and 15% carbs. I usually end up going over on protein and under on carbs. My diet consists primarily of lean meat, protein shakes,…

Four maybe five chocolate glazed donuts. Someone at work brought in Timbits today and I had to walk by them every time I filled my water.

Good luck man! I started out at about 30% bf. Now down to 17 and going for 12. I think you’ll hit your goal before October.

I love that site. Lyle is a bit of a douche in real life but he’s super smart.

Count me in too! I just turned 40 two days ago and I’m still not ready to accept it.
