First of all, congrats on your progress already. I would just recommend more variety... It will help ensure you get your proper nutrients AND make dieting a little more exciting.

I didn't know weight loss enables you to time travel!

I concur with CSAR. I've seen many posts on this site explaining how easy it is to miscalculate food portions. Maybe invest in a food scale to help with the accuracy?

I don't know anything in premium that I would even use. The base version is already very comprehensive. It may seem complicated at first but I find it quite intuitive after using it for a while.

https://www.wellplated.com/soy-ginger-salmon/ I've used this recipe a few times and it is my absolute favorite. https://www.skinnytaste.com/these-lovely-grilled-salmon-and-lemon/ These kebabs were also really good.

Experiment with stir fry's. It's tough to mess them up and you can use a large variety of veg's.

Allow yourself some extra rest days in the beginning. Light exercise can help in the meantime as it will circulate blood (and therefore nutrients) to those areas. Within a couple weeks, your muscles will be much better adapted and equipped to handle the workload. Most importantly, don’t let it discourage you!

I'm looking to lose 20-25 lbs as well. Activities: Weight lifting and biking. Cooking is a new hobby for me, so I'm enjoying learning how to make healthy, low cal but delicious meals as well.

More like 25 lbs here (hope that’s close enough!) Happy to encourage you as I could use some myself.

That picture made me so hungry.

Sometimes I put raw egg whites in my leftovers (depending on the dish), and microwave the bowl, forming a protein packed egg white casserole.

Leftovers from last night’s dinner! It makes it that bit easier cooking a little extra at night, not having to put in any effort to have a tasty, nutritious lunch.

Good luck! You got this.

Egg whites. When I heat up certain leftovers, I pour in egg whites. When I make scrambled eggs, I add extra egg whites. In the snacking mood? Have some Greek yogurt or cottage cheese in the fridge.

Throw some beans and your favorite veggies into a crockpot, have it slow cook for a few hours, and have a ready made meal for days!

I’m with you; I customized my macro percentages to increase protein and decrease carbs.

I just do my best to estimate what size servings are on my plate, and I try to be a little conservative (so if anything, I overstate what I’ve eaten). If the restaurant is part of a chain, it’s worth checking their website to see if nutrition facts are available.

Smoked salmon is a good breakfast choice. Perhaps on some avocado toast 🤤

I’ll second Ezekiel. I find it rather tasty as well..
