Awesome job man!

Deciding whether you want to build muscle, lose fat, or maintain your current state is a good first step. Use that information to set up your calorie and macro goals on MFP. Next I would buy a good scale and learn to measure and log all of your food. Building a community of supportive friends helps make the journey more…

🤣

Welcome! What's the plan?
-
What is Team RH?
-
What are your goals?
-
Awesome!

OP hasn't logged on since asking the question. Case closed?
-
.....how low?
-
How much are you eating now?
-
Are you tracking your calories and using a food scale? How many calories are you eating per day?
-
Honestly, it's damned near impossible to know how many calories you are burning beyond a best guess. Set your calories according to your activity level using MFP, and eat that number of calories every day no matter what you do excercise-wise.
-
Are you using a food scale?
-
Awesome job man! You look totally different, your hard work shows!
-
You should be damned proud of yourself sir. You did it the hard way, despite challenges and adversity, and you knocked it out of the park!
-
You look much younger too!
-
I suggest pre-logging your day so you know what to eat and aren't as tempted to go off-plan.
-
Always open to friends who regularly share their progress. We grow through shared knowledge and experience!

Awesome job!

I guess you can't win them all 🤷♂️ Thanks for your response!
-
Chickpeas and beans!
-
Thanks for sharing all that man. I hope you keep taking positive steps in your journey 🙏

This is really hard to answer...bf% is going to play a major role in your appearance. Two people coule weigh the same and look a hell of a lot different. Where are you at now?
-
It's brought up some great discussion that I can actually relate to, so thanks for posting!
-
Well here, your bf% looks a lot less than mine was, and you clearly have muscle in your back, chest, and arms, so if you decided to focus on putting on mass, you wouldn't be starting from zero.
-
Yeah I was 139lbs here (5'8), at the end of a 6 month cut. I'm deep into a clean bulk now, up about 15lbs.
-
LOL you look so much better than I did. I wouldn't call you skinny fat at all.
-
In July this year I was only a few pounds less but I wager a much lower bf%. I wouldn't call myself skinny fat here, but I did in the first picture
-
Thanks for the response. I posted that old picture to try and show that's its possible to be at a quite low weight and still have a quite high bf%
-
I think it's really difficult to draw comparisons here. Was your son overweight to start with?
