Welcome back.

Definitely, just encouraging to continue after the holiday

Totally makes sense, I honestly only paid attention to the total. If it is accurate though he his hurting his body more than helping. I like how you analyzed that.

I understand the calorie deficit but bro you are not eating enough. You will lose weight this way but it will be more muscle than fat. Don't become enamored with that the scale says but monitor your body fat percentage.

Relax, the book I recommended does more than recommend what to eat. It also recommends joining this app along with his. Regardless, my statement remains the same. No matter what your goal is there is a reason you pay some attention to the macros, which that book explains WHY. Instead of me regurgitating my interpretation…

Again I recommend reading the book. I won't call anyone out that's not called for. I'm not saying that book is the bible but out of the 5 I've read it was the best in regards to mentality and "diet"

Ok there is a lot of suspect stuff being said. I'd recommend reading Burn the Fat, Feed the muscle for a number of reasons. Macros are calories, you should definitely understand your body type, you need to understand your TDEE and how macros actually work.

I have back tonight. What do you normally work on your back days?
-
What are you trying to accomplish? Thinning out, putting on muscle mass?
-
What's takeaway?

Pretty good, I was 230 down to 222. Goal weight is 205. I had to adjust my protein intake from last week because I hit a plateau. My split is now 40/40/10 on the macro count.

I like it. I'm down for a accountability group of some sort.

Cool idea

@o0kody0o how are the Irish quick oats?
-
Great job! Make sure you monitor what kinda of weight you're losing 😊

Tbh, no. Tom gets right into the weeds after the 1st chapter. I read chapters 1&2 jump to 6 (it really means a lot) came back to 3 and began reading in sequential order from there.

Most likely experts are not on this free app, giving out free advice. What really got me going was Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle a book by Tom Venuto that talks about the mental preparation, body type, understanding calories and macronutrients and workouts. It really help me take my training up a notch. I hope this helps.
