Hello. Checking in. I’m down from 96.8 to 96.2 kgs. That’s about 1.5 pounds. But we are going away for 3 nights tomorrow, so I’m really hoping just to maintain this week. I have met all my goals. Done a lot of swimming, drunk my green tea and been more sociable. Glad everyone seems on track.

Oh well played AnnPT77 . I just weeded and spread mulch on my new flower bed despite it being cold and grey. Think I may have weeded some of the flowers I planted last year, but it looks so neat and loved now. And I have earned dinner.

Happy March every body. My starting weight is 96.8 I met my February goal which was very modest, lost 2 kgs in Feb. Would really like to lose 3 kilos in March, but we have an anniversary trip away , so 2 is more likely. I am making an xtra effort this week, in another forum. And that has begun well Goals: to stay within my…

@pdd1216 I so sympathise. I’d been trying to get by on 1 tablet a day but I’ve upped them now, and it is helping. I find I lose weight if I sleep, and for that I need pain relief. I’ve also been swimming nearly daily, with very little leg movements and it does seem to have strengthened the muscles around the hip and made…

Hello every body, February went well for me and I met my teeny tiny goal of reaching 97 kilos. I am swimming most days too, and it is making a visible difference. Goal for this month is to get below 95, and I am confident that I can. I would also like to contact a friend at least weekly, and do more social stuff, Ive…

Thanks all. I will come back to these tips time after time. Think I may have made myself sound more slapdash than I am. I do weigh and log, honest! Photo for when out is an excellent idea.

Health is a motivator. I really dont want diabetes, thank you. And, I would love to weigh less than my husband. 17 kilos to go!
-
I am so invested in you. Hope its going well.

Good Morning. Well, Ann, I was in a way, glad to read that you are just now dropping the holiday excess. I have spent January and February trying to kickstart the weight loss, glad to know it’s not just me.. Finally it is beginning again. I am swimming most days now. I know weight loss is about calories, but my body does…

Yummy snack @swimmom_1

Crikey swimmom, that wrapper sounds exhausting! I’d rather get one that said, oh dear, got a nasty tickle? Wear a little scarf, wrap up warm, stay by the fire! Probably why I’m fat…

Wow Maggiegirl. That sounds lovely. We are possibly going to have some snow next week, so I may get mywish without the long flight( I hate flying!) won’t get mountains though, I live in the flat Midlands.
-
@MaggieGirl135 . I would love to. Where is CO? I am in England.

Hi, I couldn’t post for ages, but still logging. Hit a plateau, but slowly beginning to lose again. . I wish I had snow. I have been swimming a lot which I love.

Hi to everyone. I had trouble getting into this section of MFP for ages, but today the computer let me in.I started February at my December weight, which was actually an achievement, after January. I do seem to be on a plateau. So I decided to have a small target.. so I want to get under 97 kilos by the end of February,…

Just thought. I’m also struggling because my youngest has dropped out of University and has a mental health issue going on. She’s very thin so trying to get her eating whilst being careful is tough. But I’m not going to be knocked off track. My needs are important too, and for once I’m going to try and keep them on the…

Oh wow butter controversy. I am in the U.K. , and, as far as I know we can’t get butter seasoning. I think we may eat less processed food here. Having said that, I might if I could, because I really love butter. We do have clover, which is kind of fake butter. I don’t like it, so I just scrape that on removing any excess.…

Crikey, that s9 much weight lost maybe I should try it. Tell me more

Hello everyone.. Glad to have found you again. Reading your goals has really helped me not just to feel helpless , but to form a Plan for getting back on track. Porridge for breakfast. Stop eating butter( love it too much!). Swim 3 x per week. Active every day for at least 30 mins. Veggie dinner 2 x per week. Stop…

Happy new year to all here. I have been keeping up my diary, but not joining in threads. I love Christmas, but it does take a toll on me as a mother of 5 . We still seem to host the main events, and manage a whole load of conflicting needs. I thought I did quite well in only gaining a few pounds over the holiday week.…

Checking in. I can’t always access the community stuff. Dont know why. Anyway, I’m still going. I’ve gained weight this month, for no good reason, and it is hard to keep on track when that happens. But I’m trying to just keep logging. I have been doing well with social stuff, I have been more active, done some swimming. I…

My clothes must have been really tight, because 20 pounds in, they are fitting very well!.

@pdd1216 Hi, we have joined this thread at the same time, I am also waiting for a hip replacement, after a year of trying to figure out why I couldn’t walk. I am in U.K. and have no date as yet. I have just realised that sitting on my bottom all day is really not helping, so I am trying to just do more around the house and…

Can I join you? I weigh 98.5 kilos, which is somewhere around 220 pounds. I restarted MFP IN September at 108 kilos. I am waiting for a hip replacement. I am not able to walk more than a a few hundred feet, and because of that went from very active to sitting all day. I realised this week that this is not good enough. I’ve…

Pdc654 wow. What an incredible achievement. Please tell more

We live in the English Midlands. We typically get 1 or 2 snowy days a year. But fuel bills have gone up hugely here, so there is a gloomy expectation of really cold weather.

Love this discussion. We just ate a weird frittata hybrid with all the fridge leftovers. It was actually delicious. We dont have to eat our leftovers because we have a beagle, and they really are living dustbins, obviously we don’t give him sugar, alliums or cruciate veg. But he definitely should have had those pancakes…

10% of body weight, another .8 kilo to go. But that is the smallest of my goals, After that, still need to lose 25%.
-
BCLadybug888 you are right. I love an egg. Love your decorations. Will you get snow?

I am hoping it is a lesson learned. I eat porridge all week, but allow myself different stuff at the weekends. I need to think about that. I will try myself with yoghurt for breakfast next weekend.
