Hey, thanks!
-
I was able to get vertical away from the wall without falling today. I didn't get a lot of hang time but I did it!

You might try a lower goal...maybe 1 lb/week. 1330 is awfully low for calories. It seems very counter-intuitive. I make better progress with like 1500 instead of 1200. Plus I'm not as grouchy/mean. :/

Making progress on my handstand! I can't hold it long but...I'm vertical and without the wall.

Yoga practice today. Side crow.

Also, just a little tidbit for you yogis out there today. The definition of Namaste-there are a lot of interpretations of it but...I thought this was so uplifting. Namaste means “The divine light in me bows to the divine light within you.” However, a simple Internet search provides many beautiful meanings and translations…

Practice today-side crow Handstand practice. Didn't get much hang time, BUT...I got vertical! So there's that. I am going to try to practice my handstand daily...it's getting better each time. Happy Thursday to all my yogi buddies! Namaste.

It is true. I do find I eat more fruits/veggies in the summer, but mostly because my favorites are all in season: tomatoes, peaches, cherries, green beans, corn, watermelon, etc...
-
Wow! That's amazing (your friend). I had done pool running earlier this year because of (you guessed it) an injury. It did help a lot with maintaining my fitness level (cardio/endurance wise)
-
In general or on MFP-either way you got one!
-
Yeah I mean...for me it's so hot here in the summer, rarely does making or eating a hot meal actually sound good. I eat lots of salads, veggies with hummus, fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese. I don't crave hot and hearty foods as much. That being said I think I'm making pancakes for dinner lol

Incorporate some calorie and nutrient dense foods into the diet such as salmon, olives and olive oil, avocado, nuts, seeds, nut butters. Also work on things like strength training to build up your muscle.

HAHAHAHAHA

MMmmmm....I'm gonna say not...maybe...
-
Sorry....just gonna go wipe the drool off my face.

Yeah I mean...our tap and water from the fridge are both fine/taste good. I just...get tired of it really quickly. I love coffee but I add half and half to mine. And it doesn't dehydrate you...just doesn't hydrate you as much as other fluids...so I try not to drink too much...(plus if I get too much caffeine I get…

There aren't any rules. Look at the person above. What do they make you think if if you imagined them as a food? That's it.
-
And yet...we still play the game. A slice of NY cheesecake.
-
I mean we...are water......whoa-this just got deep. LOL/JK
-
Fruit tea sounds interesting. And I am trying to do like...sun tea/herbal teas, since those don't contain caffeine and count as hydrating fluids.

Just having gestational diabetes already increases your risk for 1.) Developing GDM again if you become pregnant again and 2.) type 2 later in life. It isn't the insulin that causes your risk to go up. The NEED for insulin is a good indicator that it may not go away after pregnancy. It means insulin resistance is bad…

Ah-you had me until "low carb"! I have tons of ideas but...all involve carbs. However, check out www.skinnytaste.com. She has a whole section of low carb ideas. Bake an egg in an avocado...top with salt/pepper/hot sauce...maybe cheese...now I'm making myself hungry.
