I make mine in my Vitamix....so easy!

Welcome!

I've been doing that, too, but don't consider it a treat or reward since I have to have clothing to wear! ;) I am almost to my goal (about 9 lbs to go, then will re-evaluate). Monday when I went out to dinner I splurged and had a margarita! Haven't had one in almost a year...boy was that good!

Speaking of apps, Instant Pot does have their own app with a recipe database.

If you feel good, that should be all that matters. Sure, it's nice when people comment. And I've had that over the last few months from people I haven't seen for awhile. Last was a couple of days ago. I've never liked pictures of me, and still don't if not taken from the right angle, etc. And it's hard to get good group…

Don't feel like you *have* to eat at the party. If it's not a normal meal time for me, I personally wouldn't eat anything, or eat very little. If I did, I would still track. For a meal time, it would depend on that is being served and if it's a sit down dinner or if people are just milling around and mingling with a plate…

I've had mine only a couple of weeks or so and have only done hb eggs and oatmeal so far. I do belong to a couple of groups on Facebook, one is for healthy instant pot recipes. If you are FB, check them out. Lots of ideas and members are so excited about their instant pots!

I eat a tbls occasionally. Either just straight, or will put it on celery or whole grain bread or crackers. I also make my own peanut butter, from just...peanuts! So much better than store bought, and I know what is in it.

Some groceries have eggs already hard boiled and peeled in a package. You might look for those if you eat hb eggs.

Oh, if you have or can get a collapsible (usually silicon) strainer, that would be easy to pack and you can use for rinsing any veggies/fruit you get.

I'm really surprised that the conference doesn't provide any meals at all. Perhaps they will have snack type food out for breaks. Keep a look out. If the hotel you will be at offers continental breakfast, you could check that out the first morning and see what they have. And maybe see if they have a microwave. I'll add…

I didn't give myself a deadline and really didn't have a goal in mind at first. I started the middle of January and knew it would be a journey. 91 lbs down since.

I've had my IP for a couple of weeks and have only done hard boiled eggs and oatmeal, so far. I did purchase a separate cookbook with it. I also joined a couple of instant pot groups on Facebook. One of them is a healthy instant pot recipe group. If you are on Facebook, think about joining one or 2!

Amazing!

It will automatically start counting your steps, regardless. As far as the "Active Minutes" mine doesn't record that until 10 or more minutes of continuous walking.
-
I keep mine in the fridge.

I used to drink diet coke a lot - every day 1 or 2 - but started reducing it probably about 10 years ago. I would only drink it occasionally and when I ate fast food. I haven't had one at all since December or January.

I have that happening on my neck, as well.

I rarely use the app, I prefer the website...when it is working.

I would start out by walking. Are you going to school? If so, I would think you should have access to equipment there? Log what you are eating on the app/site (as previous poster mentioned, how are you accessing this site?) to stay under your calories. Are you choosing what you eat from the fast food/pizza places? Or is it…

Congrats! 85 for me so far (since January).

This morning I had an egg white and turkey bacon sandwich on a multi grain english muffin. Also threw some baby spinach on it.

Weekdays, usually a couple of hours or so after getting up and I take it to work and eat it there after arriving. Weekends/days off, usually about an hour or so after getting up.

Are there hiking/walking clubs or groups in your area you could join? We have them here. I wouldn't go alone myself. If you insist on going alone, be aware and alert, do not have earbuds/earphones in your ears or be listening to music so you can be alert. You have been given some good advice/suggestions above. Be safe.

I track only water as water and anything else is done separately in the diary to track the calories. I have coffee at breakfast so that goes under breakfast. Currently I don't drink anything else but maybe the occasional alcoholic drink, which is put in the diary under whatever meal I have it with.

51 here, hadn't had a period since January then last week had it very light for several days, really not much (compared to always being pretty heavy before). Did have a little cramping and was hungrier than normal. Haven't really had any hot flashes yet. Heck, at work I use a space heater all year round because my office…
