Personally, I like to buy fresh okra pods (the smaller the better) and air fry them whole with a little oil and seasonings. We used to roast them in the oven, but air frying is quicker. But, I would try those if I saw them. I'm kinda nuts for the birdseye crispy green beans cooked in the air fryer.

I've tried many other brands of Greek yogurt and always come back to Fage (0%). Like others, I buy the larger size and scoop out how much I want. I haven't noticed any difference in their yogurt recently, but, like everything else, the price has gone up. Sigh.

I once did a full elimination diet to determine GERD triggers. First I ate only brown rice. Then I added a new food every few days. It wasn't fun, but I was able to eventually put together a list of foods that I could, literally, stomach. Over the years, I've been able to add other foods, so my diet isn't all that limited…

Ordered test kits first day. Haven't heard anything since initial email. No kits have arrived (unless they are in my mailbox, which I'm not going to get to until some of the ice melts). My spouse's employer has decided on 3/1 back to office "no matter what". My spouse is now (finally) trying to tackle pandemic weight gain…

Speaking of drinks, I product tested Aura Bora sparkling water (cactus and rose) recently. https://aurabora.com/pages/aura-bora-herbal-sparkling-water?gclid=Cj0KCQiAi9mPBhCJARIsAHchl1zkcrQfZtzKnwUMjvTLouYukBEgOC4M04bWcTVsKxFUJnKS-XgXVD4aAk4mEALw_wcB I really liked it, even though I had to let it go flat first, since I'm…

https://www.millitfarms.com/pages/plants-products I tried their creamy Italian dressing and it was really delicious. Plant-based and 60 calories for 2 Tbsp/30 ml. (Found in the refrigerated salad dressing area of Whole Foods.) I'm not even a big fan of creamy Italian dressing, but this had a great flavor without any of…

My dermatologist recommended Viviscal for hair. It's "clinically proven" to improve hair loss. I am noticing a decrease in the hair forest on my bathroom floor after 3.5 months, so I think it's helping. If you use Ibotta, they have a $10 rebate right now. So does Kroger, so that can be up to $20 back to try it if you shop…

Most of the time we use boca burgers because we like the taste and calories. Our adult child prefers Morningstar Farms (the classic brand, not the newer Incogmeato version). MF is a bit higher calories than Boca, but not as much as the Impossible-type brands. I've tried most of the newer types of vegan burgers (because I…

We made a delicious stir fry with the "spam" omnipork. It is a funny consistency (mushy) but cooks up great. Not sure if it tastes like Spam since I don't think I've had any in at least 45 years.

Interesting. The ranch version is one of the few products I actually threw away. It tasted so odd.

I use 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil (20 calories) per serving in a nonstick skillet. I use whole eggs, though, so maybe egg whites stick more?

Please ask your son how many courses specifically on nutrition he took. Most doctors take at most ONE. Some never take any. Dietitians are the experts on nutrition. (As someone who was going that route before a car accident derailed my plans.) You should also review/learn about the scientific method and how the media…

When the price is good, we use these in stews (otherwise we use seitan). I put them frozen in the slow cooker with all the veggies, stock, etc and they are perfect by dinnertime.
-
I also skipped these, even though my Walmart had it. I've never really liked double stuffed, and these looked like more than double.
-
I don't know about the other poster, but I found them at Walmart.

Hour by hour might be difficult to maintain. However, I think daily isn't a bad idea. Historically many people kept a daily diary/journal of their lives. Nowadays, I think many people keep a version on social media. I would highly recommend this concerning work. It's so much easier to find records of things and write up…

I like Fry's the best. They have a nice crunchy breading. But last time I was at Sprouts, they were on clearance, so I guess they won't be available there in the future and I haven't seen them in other stores. Alpha is good. My husband also tried the spicy ones and really liked them. (I live spicy-free due to GERD. ☹️)…

Nice review! Thanks! I regularly put vegan nuggets on top of salads for lunch. I've also tried Alpha, Lightlife, and Fry's. I would say that I'm pretty equal opportunity re:nuggets if the price is right! 😁
-
I concur. These were the only alpha products that I was extremely unimpressed with. (I'd lump the breakfast sandwiches in with the burritos, too.)

I lean into boys clothes myself. Robots are much more my style than unicorns! I love that the long sleeves are the right length. Who needs petite sizing, just get kids! Dressed today in a boy's white Oxford shirt paired with dark jeans.

Since I got a new phone this year (2021), I've been unable to post photos on MFP forums. 😟 https://abbotsbutcher.com/ground-beef?gclid=CjwKCAiA8bqOBhANEiwA-sIlNxJ5_wHT4qlNTYNAD53nZRA6M-7jSR-Da99rBFntSw1ECKBbL1PvAxoCfr4QAvD_BwE Tried this newish faux mince. It has a nice flavor and doesn't turn to mush like many other…

I find a low dose of CBD (25 mg gummy) works as a sleep aid. It helps my anxiety calm down and reduces nightmares. I take melatonin, but only as needed, not every day. I'm also on regular magnesium, zinc, and B-12 supplements, but they aren't specifically for sleep. (PPI absorption issues and macular degeneration.)

Aside: @springlering62 Did you have reflux surgery? My surgery consult resulted in him suggesting just staying on PPIs for the rest of my life, and never again having tomatoes, coffee, alcohol, etc. On topic: I'm in maintenance. I tend to cut back a little during the early part of the month (losing about 1/2 a pound), and…

We've had the Jack & Annie's meatballs a couple of times and really liked them.
-
I used 14/14 when losing and now 30/30 in maintenance. I don't have large weight fluctuations, though, even with salt or higher eating days (less than 2 lbs except for a few occasions due to meds or injury).
-
I make a fruit stuffing: raisin bread, fresh cranberries, broth, a little butter, salt, and sugar. It's delicious!
-
I use Crazy Richard's in my smoothies when I want a peanut butter flavor. It's fantastic! I also use plain unsweetened protein powder (usually half servings). Nowadays I use Naked Pea (lower price). I used to use Garden of Life. They both add essentially no flavor or texture.

It looks like 40 calories on the website. Does that sound reasonable? Second picture, side of box. https://patsyshemp.com/collections/all/products/milk-chocolate-minis CBD helps me sleep, mostly by reducing nightmares.

I'd recommend setting up a Stitchfix account. After making the account you can browse outfits which will give you great ideas for what's in fashion, goes together, and matches your lifestyle and personal likes. Depending what's affordable for you, you can put together similar outfits from stores at all price points…

I wear the same clothes (size 4 US) at 114 lbs that I wore at 120 lbs. They are just a little loose now. I'm 5'3". I suppose I could try on a 2, but my local stores rarely carry any clothes under size 6, so even my 4s were ordered online, and I just don't have the bandwidth to order and return clothing right now.
