Hi, I started my journey in June and got onto MFP 7/24. MFP told me to eat 1200 calories per day to lose about 2 pounds per week. I currently do not use a food scale because I do not own one and don’t have the time to weigh all my food.

Hi Carry, I have been in your exact situation time and time again. I always knew I had to lose weight but I had no motivation and would keep putting it off. I don’t weigh my foods and this is what mfp recommended in order to lose 2 pounds per week I have to consume 1200 calories daily. Any advice?

I am 23, 5’6” and currently weigh 175 pounds. My goal is to be at 150. I do use the food diary daily and consume around 1000-1200 calories daily.
