  • Thanks, I am surprised by it but I'm not questioning anything, lol
  • I am now down to 188.2, that is 15.8 pounds since the start of the challenge 6 weeks ago, 26.2 down since my surgery last year March, and 67.8 down from my start in Sept 2019. I posted my spreadsheet on the share your numbers page. I am happy but also feeling bummed. I see the spreadsheet and see all I accomplished yet see…
  • Female Start age 49 Start date 9/8/2019 Start weight 256.0 Current age 50 Current date 3/4/2021 Current weight 188.2 Total loss 67.8 Here is my full story in spreadsheet form if you're interested.
  • Does anyone else watch YouTube eaters? I love watching Beard Meats Food. I just started watching Eric the Electric. I don't know why I enjoy it. It doesn't make me hungry and it doesn't make me grossed out either. So weird.
  • We like the impossible whopper so we recreated it at home, he cooked impossible patties in the frying pan with a little oil, bought whole wheat buns, with a slice of american cheese and ketchup it was about 550 calories, way less than Burger King, much faster than going there and back, and really tasted awesome. I mention…
  • I was scheduled for the breast reduction/lift for early April but cancelled it since I am not vaccinated yet. I may now wait for the entire thing and do it at once, the 'mommy makeover' mentioned though that name is gross. I know with the breasts they will do that anytime since it isn't as stressful on the body and…
  • I wasn't a snacker but during covid at home I got into the habit of snacking in the afternoon, chips and salsa was a big one. Plus I now live with my boyfriend and he eats a large dinner and is the primary cook so I was eating way too much. He is a huge nighttime snacker and recently cut it out, frankly it was just will…
  • Female Start age 49 Start date 9/8/2019 Start weight 256.0 Current age 50 Current date 2/25/2021 Current weight 190.2 Total loss 65.8 I have a few other trigger dates. I had surgery last March and didn't weigh in a lot, when I did I found I lost weight without really doing much work (wasn't that well and at home didn't…
  • Exactly, my abs are not great but they aren't totally shot, it's the loose skin on top that keeps hanging more and more as I lose. I'd love to (for now) find something industrial to suck it in so I am not wearing pants that sag in the butt and hips/thighs.
  • Great loss, and staying off the scale isn't a bad thing, you showed yourself you can do it and not be slave to the emotions of the scale! I mentioned in another thread my boyfriend and I are doing a joint challenge. We started Jan 21 and end the Friday before memorial day, 18 weeks. I set a 25 pound goal. So that's step 1.…
  • I hated his toaster oven, the BF hated my 2 slice toaster. We got a new toaster that also is a regular and convection oven and an air fryer and it dehydrates too. He loves kale chips, not my thing. But pre-made they cost $5 for just 2 ounces in a bag. Insane. We bought a 1 pound bag of cut and washed kale for $3 and he…
  • Last night was homemade Chinese/thai, stir fry of chicken and broccoli in a peanut sauce over rice. Tonight is an impossible "burger" on whole wheat buns with homemade oven fries.
  • Thanks for the help, I'll pass on the corset. I'm huge busted and I need a reduction, not something that will make them look bigger. I am going to check out Shapers. I need something industrial! I just put on the size 14 suit pants and jeans and yep, it fits in thr hips and thigh but the huge lower belly hanging down makes…
  • I have been around this page for over 18 months though I fade in and out I'm making an effort to be more engaged here. I read your post and only can say you've done this before successfully so you know you can do it. Keep remembering that!
  • My boyfriend cooks most meals but I turned him onto a good 10 minute dinner. Boil rice (or buy the microwave cups and dinner is now 2 minutes). In the Indian section of the grocery store there are microwave packets of all kinds of Indian food. My favorite is the Chana masala. Nuke it for a minute, serve on the rice. I buy…
  • Thank you!!!! I cannot believe I'll be in the 180s soon. I feel like when that happens I can really be happy the 200s are truly behind me. How are you?
  • Hi again....again.,......I fell off the radar again. I sold my house this summer and moved in with my boyfriend so that was a lot going on. LONG POST - but fyi I do read the threads when I can and do enjoy them a lot. I will try harder to be more active here. I do appreciate this site and this page more than I realized and…
  • No spreadsheet since I'm on the app on my phone but I'm 199.6 today! Down a pound 56.4 pounds not over 200 pounds. Feels nice. Thought it would be more earth moving though, maybe since I was eyeing it over the past week I lost sensitivity a bit. I am excited to have 180 in my sites for the next big goal!
  • Hopefully this works. I posted elsewhere but I had hip replacement surgery early March so I have a lot of no weigh-in weeks since I could walk and was not focused on weight loss. I've gone from a size 22W to a size 16, buying dresses at Target in size XL and got on the back of the boyfriend's motorcycle!!!
  • Ha, yes lots have happened for sure. I stopped by my house last Thursday and was 200.6. Great number as it's 55.4 pounds down and so close to 1##. Still not tracking again yet. I have to have food in the morning with my blood thinner so I usually have toast with butter and some grapes or pineapple. The boyfriend doesn't do…
  • Thanks for sharing! So motivational.
  • Lost my long post, to summarize....sorry I went MIA. Started a new job and eyeball deep in a new relationship. Haven't been online at all. Checked in on the scale time to time, just posted today though. Up 1 pound this past month. That's good news. Didn't revert to my ood weight. Hoping things calm down and get more…
  • Thanks! I had a crazy early flight and weighed in but didn't get online to post it.
  • @papayahed I always fly with a bag of Combos. I never touch that garbage outside of flying. I had flights this past week and went ahead and ate them and enjoyed them. I wound up full and didn't eat much other than that though. @tiffany80802017 I feel the pain. It's like you're playing dress up. And the bigger we are as…
  • I had two flights this past week. My flight out was very open, no rows had middle seats occupied. My flight back was fully booked. I was in size 18 jeans and fit in the seat without a huge amount of discomfort and feeling the person next to me (eg me spilling over onto their seat). Also I realized one of my interview for…
  • Accountability. I post my progress publicly here and want to show consistentcy and that I'm walking my talk. Comraderie. I was offline the past 7+ days and I missed seeing the posts of issues, struggles, and successes. Safety. I do not minimize those with less weight to lose, they have their own struggles. But I cannot…
  • Hi all, I have been offline for over a week and I missed so much success. Congrats to everyone!!!! I had a 2 week goal of 3 pounds knowing a lot was going on, didn't want a 1 week goal. But I still weighed in and last week was up .2 but today was down that .2 and an additional 4 so I'm at 35 pounds gone exactly since Sept…
  • I was offline for a week. Felt weird. I weighed in last Sunday very very early (like 4am) and was up .2 of a pound. Was a little surprised but okay. Then was traveling and eating and totally offline. Weighed in early afternoon today and was down to 221. My goal from my 12/8 weigh in to today was 222 (would be 3 pounds over…
  • Sorry I was offline for the week. I know it's too late but in case it isn't here is my spreadsheet.
  • Thanks! Appreciate the support so much. I actually literally feel gross in a physical way.....bloated and nasty. I forgot to get on the scale this morning, I was rushing around and totally forgot. I set a goal for this week and next week combined to be 3 pounds and I'm curious if I've gone up from eating within CICO but…
