Hi, I will post it below. Today was my weekly weigh in anyway and I'm back down to where I was the week after Thanksgiving. So basically maintaining from Halloween (141.3) through almost NYE (139.4) which is good. This weekend will be a tad over the top so that's okay; I know it and will enjoy it. If you want to 'friend'…

Hi, you can see from my huge spreadsheet in earlier posts my starting weight and my weekly progress. There were long stretches of no weigh ins as I wasn't tracking or weighing in. I would occasionally step on the scale and I'd track that though. My breakthrough was January 2021. I told my boyfriend I was unhappy and wanted…

Still getting DOUBLE steps from my Fitbit which is ruining the 5 week outlook.

I like the BMI tracking, I didn't think to officially do that though I did check it now and then to see where I was on that scale. I don't fully agree with it though so I didn't want to get attached to it. I have some natural muscle under this melted skin so I am deceptive with my weight, I don't look 140s. I thought I'd…

Yep, it now synchs but it gets doubled most days showing an insane deficit and my 5 week forecast unreasonably low.

I'm having this now. I have it synched but the box underneath is checked saying not to track my steps. I cannot uncheck it. So frustrating!

Well all, I think this could be my last update for a while. I got to the 130s today, 139.4 to be exact. I had gained a few, took them off, then over Thanksgiving week somehow lost 1.5 even though over that week I had an entire box of stuffing, TONS of mashed potatoes with full butter and cream, half of that weird and gross…

I haven't checked in here in a while, about 3 months. Since my last post of weighing 151.7 (loss of 104.3) I'm now down to 140.5 (loss of 115.5). I am just about at my goal range. I'll go to 137 so I have some flexibility...my goal is 'the 130s' so 135, 6, 7, 8 is all the same to me. But as I see the scale getting close to…

Posted that on April 7th. As of last Thursday I weighed 148.3, so over 35 pounds since then. It gets harder as there is less to goal. I'm still shooting for 130s though it'll take time, 10 weeks to get out of the 150s so 🤷, these last 8.4 pounds will happen though.

@conniewilkins56 and @lauriekallis Thanks a lot. Loss is now an even 105.0 after this week's loss of 0.7 pounds. I assume my next post will be after the next 12 pounds are gone which will put me in the 130s (139.#) which is my goal, to never be 140.0 or higher. I strongly recommend everyone reading this that doesn't have…

As I said above I'd check in at the 100 pound mark and I've achieved that. I was under a pound to that by July 15th (156.6), the next week stayed even, and was out of town the week after that so today is my first weigh in since the 22nd and I clocked in at 151.7 for a total loss of 104.3 since I began my journey. What I…

I appreciate it. The fitbit community is definitely more for me and what I'm looking for based on my personality even though I'm not an exercise person. I aim for 60 minutes at 3.0mph a day outside or on the treadmill, that's it. No running or anything, just something for a little cardio. I also don't do restrictive…

Missed you, glad you're able to post and will be cheering whatever recovery is needed is swift. The group hasn't been working for me so I've moved on to a great group for 50+ pounds on my fitbit app (I've now lost 80 with under 40 to go so it seemed like a great fit for me). But for whatever reason I checked back in today.…

I've lost over 70 and have 40+ to go (though it may be 30+....I am currently low 180s and am going to get under 150 and decide if I want to go under 140 or not....). Friend me if you'd like as well.

Awesome, thanks!

Did you stop measuring and start eyeballing portions? An extra 50 -100 calories from that is easy to rack up.
-
Hi all, add me too if you'd like. Down over 70 pounds since Sept 2019 (long break in 2020 due to surgery), still 40ish to go.
-
Do you have a lot to lose? I lost a bunch Sept 2019-Feb 2020, then had hip surgery just before the pandemic, maintained my loss but it started to come back after Halloween 2020, 6 pounds. Anyway, early Jan I felt I had to get going for real, I still had a lot to lose and seeing how fast 6 pounds came on I talked to my…

How true, I am down over 30 pounds from hip surgery last March. My boyfriend and were just saying when I get my other one done eventually the process will be SO much easier on us all when I'm fitter. The surgery will be less risky and the PT will be easier as I won't be as atrophied. I do walk a little on the treadmill and…

I'm a little late, internet issues until today and I couldn't get my laptop going, just the phone app which is funky. I put a lot of detail on my week in my 'Hi Again' thread but here is a summary. Really happy considering I had TWO 'party nights' (Sat is pizza/booze and we did a heckuva St. Patrick's night on Wed....it is…

Oh boy, I wrote up a whole thing and hit 'done' on the screen and lost the post. Then started again and my phone tilted and lost the post. I know it is a free app but wow, what an annoyance. Ok, so last week was a good one, lost 2.0, posted details in share your numbers. This week we had our usual pizza party and drinking…

Hi, it is great you know you can do this and you know what works for you and what you'd like to do differently. I joined this group fall 2019 and was off and on with it. I posted the 'Hi Again' and also post in the share your numbers. As for exercise, it is really just a bonus to get more calories burned, it really isn't…

Beats the phrase "every silver lining has a cloud". Haha.

We menu plan our week though it is fairly consistent. Sunday had been take out (Chinese or thai) but he makes a great peanut chicken broccoli and also moo shoo pork so we stopped ordering in (though we did get take out last week for the first time in months, split a pad thai). Mon-Tues is more flexible depending what's in…

Ty, I have a bit of a break between reality and how I'm feeling. I also hope this is PMS. I do get very down and depressed before my period. Ty for the kindness.

Don't know why but if I weigh myself a few hours after waking up I weigh less so this AM I was down 1.4 but an hour later it was 2.0 so I took that one (even picked up a 30 pound weight to reweigh myself and put it down and still got the 2.0 number). Not sure why that happens. Feeling blah. Boyfriend is down 25 of his goal…

My official weekly weigh in is tomorrow but I check in during the week. I'm down but not a lot, maybe a pound. I feel bloated and gross though I'm not overly hungry. I hope it is my PMS and next week will be better. I'm firmly in the size 14 (US womens) but feel squishy and almost more flabby than at size 16. Weird. Not…

Love it!!!!

Glad you carried yourself well - that's fantastic. But I am not being hard on myself. Not facing my reality would be unfair to my future self. I started at almost 260 pounds, shoving myself into 22W (US) clothes, couldn't move, kinda lumbered more than walked, spent my time alone eating crap, my boobs have sagged and…

He is awesome for sure. He loves me as is. Earlier today I mentioned I've lost over 26 pounds since a year ago when I had my hip surgery. I asked if he remembered what I looked like then vs now and he can't. Just said how amazing it is and to imagine when I had my surgery lugging another 26 pounds around. But yea, I'm a…
