Thanks everyone! Everyone seems to have the same idea. I will just make sure to look into the food database for raw or cooked, when putting in my food entries.
-
Thanks so much! Will be sure to look for cooked or raw from now on.
-
That makes sense to looked for the version of cooking. I weigh my raw hamburger meat into 4 oz and then I free it and then just cook that amount.
-
Ok. I Am planning to eat 4 ounces and I thought there might be a different amount with non cooked verses cooked, when actually weighing it at the end.

Thanks for the feedback! Sometimes computers drive me crazy.

You sound like me. I logged my food in advance for a chicken salad lunch place tomorrow and it almost ate all my calories for that one meal. My carb limit was gone with just the one lunch. Bummer. However, I was able to squeeze in one small 4 oz burger with mayo for dipping, but that's it. I know your post isn't about…

SORRY GUYS! I GOT IT WORKING, FINALLY
-
I may just give a little cinnamon a try.
-
Thanks for the great feedback!
-
Thanks. I paln to use just a tsp once or twice a week.
-
Thanks for the pointers. I will be sure to look into those groups.

Interesting

Yes, you are right!. I am learning that. I am just now telling myself, I don't need all the things everyone out there is reccomending for Keto and weight loss. It's expensive enough with my trying to only eat mostly the grass fed meats. I am trying to do more organic items for now. Those are expensive enough.

I am figuring that out. I get the really pricey olive oils, so the MCT I was reccomended by whole foods was the same price, like $10-12 a bottle, however, I may just use more olive and coconut oil, instead
-
I didn't taste it in my shake, which was pretty thick.
-
I love peanut butter like so many, but haven't had any since starting my Keto diet. May have some soon, though
-
I did put it in my morning shake once along with 1/2 an avacodao, just for extra fats, but haven't felt the need to use it since then. Ive been using more olive oil on salads and sauteeing. Haven't tried the coconut oil yet.
-
Thanks!
-
Mainly was using it as an extra fat (filler) in my shakes, but I can always add a little olive oil somewhere in my food intake.

When I started with my carb number, I never subtracted fiber counts first, so if the item was 8 carbs and 3 of that, were fiber, I would count it as 8 carbs total for that meal/item. I did eventually, after almost 3 weeks get over the Keto side effects. I started upping my salt and besides my food nutriton, I am now taking…

I seem to be getting better at watching my calorie intake and at the same time carbs, although I did mess up recently. Too many carbs. Probably just need a little time to get in a routine.
-
I didn't really think of it that way. I am trying to count too many things with what I am doing.
-
Thanks. I have been on the Keto for almost 3 weeks. I thought I may go off of it because I just couldn't figure out how and what to eat, so I would have a little bit of variety and not take in too many carbs. However the past couple days, it has been getting better, as I have been looking up different food options and…

Honestly, I keep going back and forth on what I want to do. I am just taking in all the different information people are sharing with me, as I try to figure it all out. I haven't been on Keto long, so to me it is still a learning thing for me, I guess.

If I have the correct Dr. Oz on tv everyday, I have heard a lot about him so I don't actually watch him. I watched a Dr. Berg on many Youtube videos and he seems quite knowledgible from what I have been hearing about the Keto diet.
-
I do agree with your post.

Thanks so much for all your great feedback. I apologize for not getting back to some of my most recent posts. I had a death in the family, so I was away for a while with my family and was not able to dedicate much time to getting on my lap top. I have been rethinking what I have been doing with my Keto exercise and numbers…

If I keep my carbs at 50, will I still be considered Keto? I can handle 50 and the rest higher fats and lower proteins in some amount. I was doing under 20 carbs. I hear conflicting news on carb amounts. I thought I heard a doctor on You-Tube say, when you start Keto, do no more then 20 carbs or less. After your body has…

What you are doing sounds like a perfect mix. I am thinking about stopping Keto because I hate the restrictions and dealing with eliminating a lot of foods, even healthy ones because of the very low carb number they say to stay around. In the past I did exactly like you and lost weight 1-2 lbs a week. I don't know why I…
