I FINALLY overcame the plateau and it really was because I decided not to overcomplicate it and let go of the technicalities!

I love that... 5 days strong...! I can't wait to do the same and then keep adding days to that!

Wow, you've become so healthy and heart healthy! That's so inspiring! I will definitely look into the Leslie Sansone Walk at Home Channel and work towards a more healthy lifestyle. I went to crazy with the intensity and spent so much time at the gym, but I kept doing what you mentioned.. eat around my workouts. I do feel…

Yeah, I like the walking better because I would do way too much in terms of workout intensity. I felt like I was burning out and found myself stopping my exercise regimen. So I started to walk to keep moving.

Congrats on the weight loss and keep up the good work!

Great job!!!!!

I need to learn to do that at ALL TIMES.... my goal every day is to work towards that :)
-
I just walk around my complex in the evening time. The air feels fresher.

This is becoming very encouraging. I feel better, too, now that I started to MOVE more and walk outside.

You WILL lose that next 15 pounds, you can do it!

Thank you so much for that tip!

Have you tried to prepare your meals ahead of time? What has worked for me is making my meals for the next few days (5 days for my work week) and that way I know what my designated meals are. I do have to say, I am absolutely imperfect with this... since I am an emotional eater, I have been having trouble with losing…

So, ultimately, I need to figure out how I can commit to that deficit... it's much harder than I thought, but I can't be so discouraged, because look at how much it has helped so many of you!

Today was definitely a challenge in the sense that I will go on my walk.... actually what's great is that my fiancé is joining me on that walk :) which is encouraging.... I just have to go through the mindfulness of not eating so much especially the type of stress eating I tend to do. I almost went overboard with it but am…

I was really thinking about it these past few weeks, and didn't think to utilize the community boards until now. You all have been IMMENSELY helpful with guiding me to understand what my next goal will be: to really work on that calorie deficit.... and I like that idea of thinking of exercise for fitness... I had been…

I just realized on the app, i had put that i am active but in actuality, its more lightly active and maybe that is part of the reason why i wasnt losing weight as well.... so im definitely going to get my steps in!

SUSHI!!! AND ICE CREAM WITH CAKE.......

I have to work on that.... I love to snack and blow my calorie deficit, especially if I'm stressed out. However, I do find that walking has been a helpful method to manage that stress... :)

Thank you so so much! I have to try the chickpea pasta... I don't think I've ever had it, but I LOVE chickpeas and I love lentils and quinoa. I make a lunch salad with lentils, brown rice, quinoa, asian slaw (cabbage, cilantro, shredded carrots), and some cottage cheese. I'll add a boiled egg if I feel like I need more…

I've been playing around with it, especially because I have been trying to avoid over compensating with carbs since I've become a pescatarian about four years ago. Since then, I haven't had any chicken, beef, or pork, and that used to help me lose weight faster because it kept me fuller. I have to just be more creative…

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my post, this has been extremely encouraging!

Thanks for the input! I was doing crazy workouts/sweating/even felt the muscle aches from doing a combo of HIIT, weight training, cardio, but didn't change much of my eating habits. I often found that if I did have strenuous workouts, I would eat more, thus, eliminating the calorie deficits. Walking has helped me with…

wow, thats great. i have been focusing on that too much, i think

Thank you so much! what percentage of macros do you use for weight loss of 1 pound a week?
-
I set a weight loss goal of 1.5 pounds per week and have lost 10 pounds in a month (maybe a month and a week). I started at 169 and now weigh 159 at 5'4". My goal weight would be 125-130 pounds and Im not in a rush to do it, but I think I got too excited when the first 10 pounds dropped. I haven't used a food scale, but I…
