  • Wanting to eventually compete, so getting consistent with counting calories and macros 🤷🏽‍♀️
  • Hmm... Edit: I’ve been making a conscious effort to stay hydrated and maintaining a diet of antioxidant rich foods, this is mainly my diet anyways - (might need to increase lean meat, but other than that I’m stumped...)
  • Definitely a mental thing, exercise keeps me from overthinking and relieves so much stress! Now it’s become routine, rest days can be a struggle
  • @Cahgetsfit Yes it is a recent pic, struggling to maintain a large deficit too. About 4 weeks or so since I’ve had my last diet break per say Also would love to eat later than I usually do, but I always always end up feeling ill if I wait too late to eat
  • I’m the same, I’m less lean in my tummy area. Slowly seeing progress by keeping persistent in what I’m doing. It’s so stubborn! No sight yet of lower abs, but upper is doing fine. It’s all in the diet and unfortunately the way your body fat is distributed. I would recommend cutting carbs and keeping up clean eating habits,…
  • Definitely have tried the whole saving calories for a cheat meal once a week, thanks for the advice! Also to answer your question I do both (mainly logging on here for further details on food I’m eating), just been in a habit for years keeping a physical journal for calories!
  • A little bit different, but I’ve had a major hip problem in the past too. Took me almost a year and a half to finally get back into the gym after being off and on crutches, therapy and everything in between! So glad to hear, keep it going. You can do it 💕
  • As someone who has been in this position before I completely understand where you’re coming from with the guilt, hopelessness, and going back and forth with this pattern. Please please find an alternative before MFP; This has the potential to become an unhealthy obsession. Easier said than done, but focus your energy on…
  • @WinoGelato I’ve been logging food in a journal for so long! As stupid as it sounds I’ve never thought about logging in “cheat meals” just to give myself that freedom away from the calorie counting. Maybe if I start it will deter me from turning one meal into a whole day’s worth of junk!
  • Going to have to keep telling myself it’s not for the best as I’ll regret it! Keep up with this, so glad it’s been working out lately for you!
  • @neyagoal Yep definitely using it as an addition to proper cardio and weight training. Glad it has helped you!
  • @EnergizedMomma Thankyou. Yes recent as of last month
