Just for today I completely relaxed. I read, sat outside and read some more. The day was beautiful. Glad to be alive!

Today is half done and I am at work. Tonight I want to eat healthy salmon that is leftover from 2 days ago. I want to make a vegetable to eat with it. I would like to walk tonight too. I have errands to do after work so hopefully I’ll get the walk in before I get too tired. Have a great evening!

Does anyone know how to track exercise like walking? I list it under cardio and describe it each time as new exercise and describe it as walking. The app gives me an alert and says this description already exists. I don’t know how to track walking each day. Is there a certain way to do it?

Hello. I’m new in this group. I have at least 40 lbs. I want to lose, but I like the idea to focus on goals. That keeps me going and is positive. I have 3 goals for today. 1. To log my food. 2. Stay under my calorie goal. 3. Walk for 30 min. Have a great rest of the day!

It was a night to cook. I felt motivated. Cooking healthy food is very important and I was happy to cook a creative meal. I made lentil stew with onions, celery, carrots, lentils and kale. It was tasty and satisfying. Glad I cooked today!

I’ve started to walk for the last 3 days. I’m walking up to 1 1/2 miles. I feel good to finally be walking again. My job is pretty physical so if I tracked my steps there I would have many more, but I don’t track at work. I can’t carry my phone all day, and that’s all I have right now. I’m still doing better than I was.…

I’m eating much healthier food and enjoying cooking more. So much better than eating junk food for dinner because I didn’t want to cook. I feel so much better.

I lost 1.2 this week for a total of 1.4 in two weeks. I’m happy to lose. I wasn’t exercising so now if I start walking I hope to lose more.

I didn’t start Optavia but I have to look at the free resources from the program. So far I’m using the MFP app. I’m tracking everything I eat. I lost 1.4 lbs in 2 weeks. I’m happy. I’m positive about Optavia. I’ve just never been on it.

I realized after seeing texasmom80 progress with her walking that if she could do it, I could do it. For me it would be a victory. Way to go!!

Today is going well. I can’t complain.

How is everyone doing? I’ve been able to stick to my calorie goal so far this week. I have yet to start exercising regularly. I’ve had to stay indoors and couldn’t do my walking. I need a boost to do it.

I ate healthy so far today. Now I have about 39 lbs. I want to lose. Count me in.

I already had a little victory. I had 13 calories left for my daily goal and I didn’t eat it.

I want to lose 40 lbs. I have never gotten to my goal. I want to have weekly goals to get there. Even little victories. How do you all set goals?

I want to have a goal for the next week. Actually, I want to work on goal setting. Anyone have a goal for the next week that they want to share? How did you decide on it?

Today I weighed myself for my weekly weigh in. I lost .2 lbs. I’m happy because I was able to stabilize from a month ago. I’m the same as I was then. This is my 6th day of tracking again. I’m getting into a routine. This app is great!

Should I exercise just to give me extra calories I can eat? That’s cutting corners and not exercising for health. Is exercise and calorie count only for the amount of food you can eat? Today, I’m a little confused.

Today I felt grace for being on MFP. Every time I feel this way I know I had a great day.

I’m doing ok so far. This is the third day I’m logging everything I eat, and I’ve walked 20 min. on 2 days. I’m so hoping I lose weight this week. My weigh in day is Friday. I do get weighed every day though. It keeps me focused. After reading what I just wrote, I’m doing great!

Good for you! You can do it! Walking is really helpful. Baby steps for you too to get out and walk. It gave me some extra calories that I didn’t use, and helped me have some success today.

I walked for 20 min. today. It gave me extra exercise calories to have in my daily total. So far my day is going well. I want frozen yogurt now. I don’t want to reward myself with food. I think I will have some water. Ask myself if I really want food.

Well, the big problem for me is tracking everything I’m eating. When I did that it helped me lose a little weight. I stopped doing that and I started eating more and gained some weight. I want to start tracking my food again. It’s hard for me. I need to just start. Last night I put one thing I had for dinner in my diary.…

Hi. I’m thinking of starting Optavia. I want to lose weight and get healthy. I am looking for support. I lost 60 lbs. 5 yrs. ago and have put about 25 back on. I am so aware of how much hard work this journey is, and I want to be successful. At this point I need support.

Hi. I am looking for support. I started this at the end of September 2019 and by December I lost a little over 2 lbs. As of today since December I’ve gained 7 lbs. I’m really not exercising either. I want to get healthier and lose weight. I’m just really struggling.
