Look for any stretches you can do to loosen it up before hand - if intolerable just work around it and hopefully it recovers with rest - it’s hell getting old

Good deal - I always start with easy light weight to give time to perfect form-and add 5 lbs each week When I can’t add weight I’ll add reps then try to add weight the next time - it’s a slow process sometimes but as you know results come with consistency
