CW: not positive so use the last one, please, I’m preparing for a colonoscopy today and will get back into Friday weigh ins next week! I’ll be back soon. Enjoy the day, WAs!

CW: 189 It's the Ides of April already and I've hardly checked in with you at all this month. There are at least 6 pages to catch up on but I decided to jump into the day before doing that. I can safely say that I've been binge eating, especially ice cream at night. Some of that directly relates to my OH's work schedule…

Happy sunny Monday! Wow, I realized that I’ve got it in for my “tomorrow selves”. I’ve been on a wicked tear of ice cream eating and low desire to do anything physical at home. Seems to be resentment-building combined with a fencing match! I’ll be in the car today with my younger daughter, picking up a standing desk in…

I missed the boat this week…perhaps it was the anchor? I haven’t been on track this with keeping up with everyone for a while. I feel out of step with other aspects in my life, too. I'm learning more about chronic dehydration and the health risks involved with working in an indoor pool environment. I’m even contemplating…

CW: 185.2 I don’t recall what my previous weight was and didn’t want to get bogged down in the MFP checking the list from last week ‘cause I’m using my phone instead of my computer. I read an interesting article about drinking enough water when working in warm, humid rooms. Working up to 2 hours in a warm place (e.g.…

Happy start of the next week, everyone! I'll catch up with my introduction...I live in Vermont with 3 cats and my spouse. I have 2 adult daughters from 1st marriage and have always felt like I had weight troubles. Over the past few years on this team, I'm starting to find a rhythm to my eating style and what doesn't work…

PW: 184.6 CW: 183.5 Yay for batteries! Let's hope I can stay green for the next 4 weeks. I have a few more things to do before bed tonight but wanted to be sure to post my weight before too late. What a lovely snowstorm we had. I chuckled at the notion of "spring cleaning" already...that's at least 2 months off, you…

CW will be done tomorrow, if I have 3 AAA batteries to replace the ones in my scale. The last time I used it I noticed it showed 3.4 lbs showing before it cleared to zero. Perhaps that’s why last weeks seemed much higher. We shall see in the morning! Snowstorm central tonight and tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Brilliant! I love punny-and-clever quips! My today self realized that previous selves were struggling with overthinking. Not only that. It became obvious that I succumbed to a classic problem…overeating one day only serves to inspire my future self to sabotage as well, thus creating that vicious cycle with an undercurrent…

I *love* that image of wrangling your future self on those days! I had a flash of strong-arming myself (similar to my sister's "Bullying-Babe" reminder photo...I know she's got a real name but darned if I can recall it right now. Perhaps @jugar will tell us!)...I felt obligated to eat a whole sleeve of Girl Scout cookies…

Happy Saturday with my new CW of 184.6 My clothes are a bit snug but my core feels stronger, especially when working with other older people who have let their muscles take unapproved holidays, like mine! When I remember to engage my core before reaching for a spoon in the drawer, for example, it brings my spine into…

Happy Sunday, everyone. It feels good to be here catching some inspiration and support. Thanks for being here! I, too like the sound of a green March. It'll probably take me a bit more than Irish luck but I'll try! I can just imagine how grumpy you got, Liselyn, not having enough work time *as well as* a photo shoot!…

CW: 184.1 Sorry to give the group an increase. I’ve definitely been overeating emotionally this week…more than usual. My best friend (we met at a spa where we both worked in 2002), originally from England, died a week ago. She was superbly stubborn and wanted nothing to do with her 80-year old body that was suddenly…

CW: 180.6 Getting there. I’ll be back in the lower decade soon. I’m too cold and hungry to type more now, but will get it together to do more tomorrow. Xoxo!

CW: 182.2 I'm ending January "healthier" than I began but I'm ready to get back onto the horse and stop being so random with my daily eating and exercise. I'll see you on the flip side of the month into February!

Happy Friday! I didn’t weigh in first thing today so I’ll do it tomorrow. I’m doing a brief check in now before work and plan to write more this weekend. It’s been a weird month so far with many changes on the horizon. We’ll see how they shuffle through and how I choose to respond to the shifts. Have a lovely day everyone!

Saturday already! It’s day #10 (of Covid) and even though I tested negative on days 7&8, I tested positive today. My CW is 180.3. Blah. I don’t like that either. Oh well. I’ll lose the Covid pounds as soon as I’m up for more exercise in the coming week. @micki48 sorry I took so long getting back to you about your foot. The…

What’s up with your foot? I trust it’s not from “Supper Abdication”? I have some ideas for foot issues so let me know where, what (helps feel better) when, how, etc. Happy to send you some energy, too! I was about to un-decorate the tree but now that Monica is home (& also positive with Covid), we’ll keep the tree lit…

Hi! My name is Evelyn and I live in Vermont with my spouse and 3 cats. My 36-yr-old daughter lives here much of the year but that may be about to change. Weight loss journey? Seems I went from “wee-string bean girl” to “chunky-monkey” then to “plush comfy-chair”. The times I felt most successful losing weight was when I…

CW: 178.6 Hi! Wow, it feels like forever since I was on here-I was stuck on the outside from the glitch preventing some of us from logging into our groups. Crazy making! OK, tbh, “crazier”. Sorry that so many are getting Covid. What a successful virus to so persistently morph and mutate to stay alive. If only my feeble…

Happy Boxing Day, everyone! We drove to northern Vermont yesterday afternoon and slept over at Emily's for a short Christmas visit. We returned home this evening via an Italian restaurant where I showed great restraint in serving sizes but not much (*any*) in spoonfuls of tiramisu! At least Sarah and I shared the dessert…

CW: 179.2 Can’t wait for the next level of allergy testing next week. I may need to go several tweaks re: food but it’ll be helpful to have some answers about fatigue, coughs, and food reactions. @lauren_989 NOOM is an online program with many lessons about the emotional and psychological reasons for how we perceive…

CW: 178.1 The past few weeks have been busier and munchier than the previous month. It makes sense considering the time of year and all of the holidays coming our ways! I’ll get some more walking and water in tomorrow. I’ll be back to read and write more soon! Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi everyone! I'm in the process of getting my eating and moving plan in action again. All of you are so inspiring! @CupcakeCrusoe i love that “tag party” and will do that this morning. @lorraineGB is “cordial” a flavoring to make water more palatable or do you mean the syrupy alcoholic type? @micki48 yay! Glad you’re…

@ells_bellz I send big hugs to you for your brave step into sobriety. I “retired” from alcohol in 2011 and haven’t picked it back up. Although seeing ourselves through others’ drunken eyes is a painful experience, it’s a blessing in disguise and you can make the choice each day to not imbibe. Just 24-hours at a time.…

CW: 176.7 Friday’s numbers Happy Caturday! What a busy week we’ve all had. It’s reassuring that every person in a body has to work at putting one foot in front of the other and one breath before the next. I’ve often thought that it’s just me who messes things up by miscalculating or whatever. There’s always *something*!…

CW: 177.8 I was excited the other day when my scale read lower. However, that's not to be today since we ate at our local diner for supper last night and had spectacularly fried haddock. True, I didn't have to eat the bread but for some reason, the heartiness of it tasted amazing and I was hungry. It's fitting that I…

CW: 177 Hi! I had to quit catching up with y'all and just check in for a few minutes before heading to work. Welcome to our new friends! I'll write more soon and finish catching up, too. Work at the indoor therapeutic (92 degrees) pool has been good and I'm slowly adapting to the darker season without eating as many sweet…

CW: 177.3 Quick update before heading to Hanover in time for brekky then singing with the church choir. I’ve been in Winooski since Friday night, recuperating from the bivalent booster. It helped to slug about and rest when possible. I suspect my number is off but couldn’t double check this morning. I’ll be sure to double…

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's been a long day but one with a good start by getting to my 6 a.m. Aquarobics class. 3 of us were there and it was nice to reconnect. Our cafeteria at the hospital is small but they do a good job providing decent food for good prices. On Wednesdays, they have a "porridge &/or yogurt bar" where…
