  • I had my 2nd Moderna Booster over a month ago...and got sick with covid 2 weeks ago. Fairly sure i was exposed to it by a repairperson in our house, as it was in the 'weak' time after the booster. Slept for nearly 24 hours after getting sick. Then it was a matter of muscle pain, joint pain, headache, congestion,…
  • So much going on in this post... I love dairy products...have issues with the industry, but haven't found good substitutes yet. I drink fairlife milk 2% (if it is out of stock, I go for organic milk, but it has more sugar, less protein.) But I rarely drink milk without anything mixed into it...ovaltine, tea, rarely coffee,…
  • I prefer morning for treadmill/cardio...but for strength training or yoga, I prefer the evening.
  • Hope you are okay. 48 (weeks from 49) yo. Last GYN visit with new dr did a scan and found fibroids...at least 3 of note, in and one hanging off of the uterus on a stalk (which he said was fairly large.) Asked if I had any heavy bleeding or pain...nope. So just waiting to see what happens from here. Expecting another scan…
  • I eat organic and/or no antibiotics/hormones meat (it can't be a factory farm without those), and meat alternatives. I cook a meat dish once every or every other week (usually enough for 3-4 meals), otherwise it is dairy or plant-based protein. And I don't deal with 'carcasses'...I'm fine with filets, nuggets, tenders, or…
  • We have two 6 year old males...Einstein (black tabby) and Cappy (longish haired grey and white - short for Copernicus.) They weigh in the 17-19 lb range, and don't look obese, but could stand to lose a few pounds per the vet, so they are on diet food. ugh. Einstein is affectionate and needy, Cappy is more aloof, but comes…
  • Have been logging on most days (Went off for a few days when I was feeling ill...though I've had bronchitis for the last 7-8 weeks). Pretty easy to measure and log food, trying to find the energy to exercise despite my breathing/coughing jags. Hoping to be well in the next week or two.

  • I'm a star wars fan (bigger fan than my husband, but he loves it too.) We went to NYC to see it with one of his friends who has no one else to see it with. We loved it. There were a few moments that didn't make sense in retrospect, but we thoroughly loved the movie, and plan to see it again soon to catch anything we…
  • I have to switch my schedule soon too...starting a job on 1/6, and have been out of work since mid-August. What usually works for me to reset my circadian rythm is staying up all day, and collapsing that night. Then making sure I have no naps for at least a week to get it set. (If I do fall asleep on the couch or…
  • Fellow nerd here...love video games and board games, lifelong star wars fan (saw the original at 6 yrs old when it was released), reading, nature and animal lover, science junkie. I'm into post apocolyptic books and movies...my husband, not so much. Eat meat only a few times each week, so I understand finding protein on…
  • Me too...need to stick to this to lose the weight I gained while unemployed the latter half of this year. Would love to connect with all of you.
  • I do fairlife milk and chai concentrate in the morning. (Fairlife has 13g of protein and low sugar for 1 cup...pretty good as a base for chai or other milk based drinks for breakfast.)
  • Fairlife 2% milk. It has 13g protein and less sugar than other brands of milk. (It usually is breakfast, and sometimes a snack.)
  • I'd be interested...diagnosed with PCOS 20 years ago.
  • 5'2.5...lost nearly 20 lbs last year on WW, then work went bonkers, and I gained it all back, plus another 20 when I lost my job. Back on the wagon here (still unemployed), looking to lose 40 lbs, maybe 45-55 to get back to my healthy weight in college.
  • I have been there too...let go at work, and gained weight as I cancelled WW, which was subsidized by my insurance...also lost. It is great you are turning things around within a month...I am just getting in gear after 3 months out. (Awaiting an offer letter...was supposed to come today, but haven't gotten it yet.)
  • I stopped using WW after I was let go from work...and gained over 15 lbs. So I understand. Will be using MFP to log food and activities...in the hopes to lose all/most of the weight I want to lose.
  • Would love to have some buddies. (48 yo f) If you want greater accountability, I joined a group here that tracks weight over the course of time...one of the leaders posted about it in the same forum we are in. : )
  • Watching TV, playing Happy acres, and trying to figure out how I want to use my last 300 calories for today. : )
  • Hi, I'm Jennifer. 48, 5'2.5", 200.4 as of this morning. Need to get down to 160...would like to lose a bit more, but 160 is a must to lower my blood pressure. (I haven't been over 200 before...being in a job that had no respect for my time (7 day weeks, overnight after working during the day, etc.) then being let go from…
  • I'm looking for an active short women's group too...doesn't seem to be any. : ( I replied to a post I saw yesterday or the day before, but can't find it anymore. (I'm a newbie.)
  • Please add me...new to MFP, 48yoF : )
  • 5'2 and need to lose 40 to lower my blood pressure...but want to lose 50+ to get my college body back. : )
  • Hi, my name is Jennifer. I am new to MFP, and looking to lose some weight and get fit. : ) Would appreciate some friends on the same journey, so we can support each other on the way. : )
  • Hi, new here (lost weight on WW last year, but before the company replaced our team, they worked us to the point of being ill...so I regained all of it, plus some.) Hoping to utilize MFP to track what I eat, make changes, and get fit after I kick this bronchitis. Planning to be an active member of the online community,…
  • Newbie in her upper 40s here. I was on WW last year, and lost over 20 lbs, but things got bad at work (pulling all-nighters and working 6-7 days each week) and regained it plus some. Post ACL surgery on both knees, so exercise isn't hard core. Hoping this app helps me really see what I am eating, so I can make the…
