I got on my bike and went for a ride last night and tonight, despite desperately not wanting to on either day. The rides were both a struggle, and super buggy, and I only went about 5 miles each day, but who cares! I did it! That's a victory right there.

I've been biking for about a year and a half without them, but I've heard people say that they really make a huge difference. I'll probably give in and try them soon! My resting heart rate has decreased from 80 bpm to 65 bpm over the last month. The biking is paying off!

My "default speed" when biking (flat-ish, no significant wind, etc) has increased from around 12mph to about 14 mph over the last two months!
