You're doing fantastic! Two pounds per week is my goal! Keep it up! 🐢🐰

Oh my gosh, I feel ya on the more comfortable flight bit! I am flying next week for the first time since losing 60 lbs and I can't wait to see how much better it is! Well, I'll also have the added benefit of social distancing, so won't have a stranger sitting on top of me, which will be a new and welcome experience. I wish…

Congratulations! It is so nice to see your efforts pay off with better health! Keep it up!

That is so exciting! Way to go!

You are doing great! Those are the things that make this worth the effort! I remember the day when I realized that my stomach no longer rubbed on the edge of my desk as I worked. I was so excited I had to announce it to my colleagues!

The last time I went to the doctor (in December) my A1C put me just into pre-diabetic range (on the low end), and this afternoon after drinking a fruit smoothie (banana, pineapple, mandarin orange, and plain yogurt) my blood sugar was only 106. i don't check my blood sugar regularly, but I was just curious how the smoothie…

If it's feasible for you, remember to break them up throughout the day, and they will add up quickly! Good luck!

Congrats on your progress, @charmmeth ! Losing 13.6 more pounds will put me at 31.1% lost, so 30% would be too close. I may need to consider some non-scale goals during this time. I'm going on vacation next week though, so I think my goal for vacation will be to maintain! I hope to eat some delicious things in moderation…

I finally made it to a loss of 25% of starting weight!!! I need to lose 13.6 lbs now to no longer be overweight. I know 13.6 may not sound like a lot, but I'm going to need to come up with another mini goal on the way there because it could take a few months!
-
I have FINALLY hit my most recent mini goal of a 25% loss of total body weight! I have 13.6 lbs to go to no longer be overweight according to the BMI. I'm going on vacation soon for 2 weeks, so I don't expect to maintain this loss, but if I don't, I'll get back on track when I return! That's my realistic optimism talking. 😏

I returned a large bagful of clothing purchased pre-pandemic that I never had a chance to wear and is now too large. Cha-ching! Of course, now I'm spending it on smaller clothes. 🤷♀️

Good for you! I can't believe the difference I feel in my knees, ankles, and back since losing 60 lbs. I know it's tough to exercise and lose weight while you're having joint pain, so kudos to you!
-
I have 1.75 lbs to reach a 25% loss of my starting weight. It seems like I've been within 5 lbs for WEEKS.

I think @audreys03 's suggestion is a good place to start. I would modify that depending on your hunger. And it may not be the same every day. Also, keep in mind that sometimes brief plateaus are caused by fluid retention, and next week you may suddenly see a large change on the scale! The main thing is not to give up.…
