I agree with the above. Reading all the stickied posts gave me all the info I needed to begin losing. You can do this, you just have to do it. Welcome to MFP!

I second the advice to just start logging everything you eat. No matter what you eat then evaluate where you can start making changes. Get a food scale next and start weighing everything. It truly is baby steps that will make the necessary changes over time to be successful long term. Welcome to MFP!

Internal drive, dedication and my 'why'. I'm not always motivated, and neither are alot of people. You just have to do it regardless.

I started carrying a insulated cooler bag with a freezer pack on days when I'll be out running errands. I can toss in some lean cold cuts, cheese, fruit...whatever is easy to grab on the go. For actual drive through/fast food, I avoid them if it's just me but if I absolutely have to stop, I'll stick to someplace where I…

Just start with small changes. Weighing and tracking your food to get an idea of what you're currently eating each day, then slowly start cutting things out, like sugary drinks. Its baby steps and a mind game alot of the time. You can do this! Welcome to MFP!

My Versa did this to me when I first got it. I know exactly what OP is talking about. It did eventually go away although it took about a month or so. I did have to take it off sometimes at night those first few weeks.

Agree with all the above. Welcome to MFP! You can do this, you just gotta do it!

Mine is...'Will you regret it if you do, or regret it if you don't?' My mother always said that to me. Not sure where it originated from, but wise words to live by and has served me well.

What I took from that well written post is I think you could possibly get some healing and/or pleasure from starting a blog here on MFP. Your sense of self acceptance and humor can benefit many, possible including yourself in having that outlet. Regardless it was beautiful and inspiring to me personally. Whatever you…

I agree with the above, next thing you'll know 6 months has passed and you'll be so thankful that you stuck with it. Welcome to MFP!

This may sound silly, but you've heard the saying "One day at a time"? Well, what helped me was to change that to "One hour at at a time". When you just dont think you can do it...give yourself 1 hour and push through it. It works for me most of the time when I want to stress or boredom eat. I agree with the above post…

I recently weaned myself off the coffee creamer too. I started slowly by decreasing the amount each week, until I was able to take it black with a Splenda and some of the sugar free Skinny Syrup (Or Toriani). It took about a month total and saves so many calories. It just takes time to get used to the taste and it helps to…
