It reminds me of a quote of Van Damme :

A coworker of mine is 5'7 260lbs, her doctor told him that his healthy weight is 200. We're talking about a dude who doesn't workout. I don't know if she said that to give him a reasonable goal or she really thinks 200lbs is his healthy weight. Maybe she doesn't think he can lose the weight. Who knows. Now the guy thinks…

Thanks, I really like the longer range of motion on this exercise vs the wide grip press. My left arm was shaking a little bit :D .

Reverse lat pulldown standing? It's the first time I see that, I wish I had a pulley machine at home.
-
I did a little PR on the dumbbell press, 180lbsx8. I'm using the neutral grip, apparently you're supposed to be a lot stronger while using the neutral grip vs wide grip, can anyone confirm? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ag4CdnPmmPQ

Yeah it was me trying to set my feet in postition, for some reason i'm afraid of losing balance and it was always an issue when squatting. Thank you for the feedback, I woke up with neck pain and I don't know if it's due to the bar placement or something else.

If you wanna know if you are overweight, measure your waist. On an individual level it's a very good indicator. Your waist should be less than half your height. So a 5'9 man shouldn't have a waist that exceed 34.5.

@Chieflrg I've been working on my glutes and hamstrings for the past couple of months and I think i'm finally ready to get stronger on the squat. I found that the safety bar squat is perfect for me, I really want to get strong on this exercise, can you tell me if i'm doing it «correctly» so to speak? My goal is 225lbs for…

Why would you need to join a gym to exercise I don't get that. You can exercise from home, it's just as good or better. I live in a studio and I lift weights at home, no excuses.

What are nice hands? Just curious.

Yes I even tried with a very narrow grip and I still feel discomfort. I think the inverted rows with the pronated grip is just as good and for me it is quite challenging. I do them before chin ups.
-
I'm doing inverted rows with a pronated grip for the posterior chain. I do them with the feet elevated it makes it a lot harder. I feel shoulder discomfort when I do regular pullups so I prefer chin ups in that regard. And once a week when I go to the gym I do rows to target the posterior chain.
-
This is a great explanation, I feel that when I do weighed chin ups I have more stability, I think it's because of the belt? It does make it a lot easier for me. That's why now i'm doing nothing but weighed chin ups with a belt.

You can't have both :D .

You can be on TRT and still fall within the normal range of testosterone levels. As long as you're in the normal range what's the problem?

Dropped out of high school at 17 years old, i'm the only person in my immediate family who doesn't have a university degree :# . Other than that life is good.

Berries have more fiber than sugar, particularly raspberries and blackberries.

Yes, they will admit that.

A good friend of mine is 5'8 and he's very popular with the ladies, another one is 5'7 and he also has a lot of success. There is a general trend but in the real world it's much more nuanced than that.

Some fruits are fast carbs, I don't think anyone would say that fruits are unhealthy because they are fast carbs.

We're talking about removing potentially 10% of the nursing staff, yet we have emergency rooms that are closing at night and a record number of nurses who quit because of horrible working conditions. A lot of times they are forced to work 18 hours shifts because of bad management. It will only get worse, much more worse.…

Well i'm French on my mother side, and French is a Latin language so i'm latino?

We have a labor shortage crisis in the nursing profession, to the point where certain emergency rooms are closing at night. But the government is talking about making the vaccine mandatory for health care workers. What will be the result? More people dying due to a lack of staff and hospital closing. It's the only logical…
