  • Yes if it means I don't have to eat a single vegetable for the rest of my life :D. And you have good taste in men I see.
  • I would want to look like this guy : And I would want to date this woman :
  • https://www.researchgate.net/publication/51863502_Who_Gets_Tattoos_Demographic_and_Behavioral_Correlates_of_Ever_Being_Tattooed_in_a_Representative_Sample_of_Men_and_Women "Men and women ages 20-39 were most likely to have been tattooed, as were men with lower levels of education, tradesmen, and women with live-out…
  • Back in the 70s or 80s, only certain kinds of people would have tattos, but nowadays it's pretty much everybody. I'm more old school in the sense that it doesn't fit me.
  • Or you could make walking useful, I walk to work everyday so I don't have to pay for public transport or a car. I walk about 1 hour everyday, helps me stay lean.
  • Start doing pull-ups or weighed pull-ups, your grip strength will naturally increase. Or you could buy a wrist roller, it's a useful and fun exercise to do.
  • Yes they are essential but plenty of products that are demmed essential are taxed as well, this is nothing new. In my province, shaving products, deodorants, hygiene products and so on are all taxable.…
  • Percentage of daily value are based on an intake of 400 IU, at least here in Canada, it may be different in the states. Some studies suggest you may need 1000 IU of Vitamin D per day. So getting enough Vit D from foods would be difficult for the average person. Unless you eat a lot of dairy and fish.
  • I think the weights on the machines are mostly accurate. For reference, with chin ups I usually do 185lbs for 3 x 8 and on the reverse lat pulldown which is almost the same movement I do 200lbs for 3 x 8. It makes sense that I can lift slightly more weight on the lat pulldown because I use less stabilizing muscles. And…
  • What are the bands used for when curling? I don't see this very often. Also do you do any direct ab work? They look very strong.
  • I think it's the most important part, if a woman finds bald dudes unattractive, I wouldn't want to be with her simply because there is no reciprocity in physical attraction and it would feel really *kitten*.
  • My opinion is that it's ok to choose who you are intimate with, and to discriminate for whatever reasons. You decide who you sleep with and it's no one else's buisiness. You don't even have to say it, most people don't say it out loud. They keep it to themselves because we have judgmental pricks in society.
  • Yes, but what happens when you talk about not wanting to date people of certain ethnicity or race? I bet a bunch of people in this forum, mostly progressive, would say that it's immoral or not a "correct" thing to. Even though you are choosing who you are intimate with.
  • Their suicide rate is not particularly astronomic compared to other countries, you can see for yourself : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_suicide_rate And suicide is a multifaceted problem, I know because in the province I live in we've had some of the worst suicide rates in the world. The United States…
  • I get that it's part of the "culture" but it doesn't mean you have to conform to that culture. You can choose to walk and live for yourself. It's the same here, but I choose not to conform to a silly car culture.
  • They are very agressive towards walkers as well, particularly in the province of Quebec where we have probably the worst drivers in North America, no respect for anyone at all. But I still walk 30 mins to work everyday, I don't even bother with public transport. I don't have a car and I don't even pay for public transport.…
  • Japan has an obesity rate of 4%, the US has a morbid obesity rate of 8%. Also who prevents anyone from walking? You can choose to walk or you can choose not to walk. If you live in a big city, it's often better to walk instead spending so much money on a car. Are we saying there's a culture that is against walking ? :D…
  • It might be useful to look at rich countries who don't have an obesity epidemic like us, say Japan or South Korea. It may be something in the culture, like how fat shaming is socially accepted, to the point where fat people are almost ostracized in society. Also the US is much worse than any other western countries,…
  • For now i'm doing rotator cuff strengthening exercises with bands. I'm also training my lower trapezius muscle as my physiotherapist suggested. But I don't have a diagnosis really, it's just that my right shoulder has drastically less mobility than my left shoulder and it's due to an old tendonitis. For now it's not…
  • Nice video. Yeah I know about arching and also the leg drive. But it's a "skill" so to speak that i've lost because I haven't done pressing movements like this for years. I have to practice again.
  • Yes I think there is a difference between something that you can change and something you cannot change. The bald dude will forever be bald and the obese person, for most cases can lose weight. Edit : And I think both are jerk moves, but to different degrees.
  • It's not necssarily ego lifting per say. When I was younger and I going really heavy, I was training the exact same way whether I was at home or in the gym. In my case I was going hard to challenge myself not to impress others really.
  • The two can't be compared at all, it's absurd. Being bald is something that you inherit and can't change, obesity is a whole different story. You may think you are the exception but for 95% of cases it is something you have control over. The biggest dick move is insulting someone for things they are born with and can't…
  • It depends who's on the receiving end. At one time I was 245lbs, eating large amounts of food to gain strength in the gym. Everyday people were telling me I should cut, to see the "fruits of my training" so to speak. People were regularly passing comments on my physique, often times mocking me because I looked really…
  • I would much rather exercise at home, I don't like the gym at all. The gym is often for people who don't have the motivation to train at home. I can train at home and put in much more efforts than when i'm at the gym. Next year i'm investing in a home gym when I move to a new place.

  • Plantains fried in butter. It's often my source of carbs at dinner along with whatever meat i'm eating.
  • I don't know when did this change occur but I grew up in the ealy 2000s and we were outside most of the time. We did play videogames but it was mostly at night, during the day we were doing stuff outside. I don't know what it's like today. I know it's more socially acceptable to be a gamer nowadays, but in my days it was…
  • I'm feeling nostalgic : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=URl05jN6KrE
  • You can do stationary lunges like this one leg at a time, it's easier on your knees I believe. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w2Qbxb6nJKc
  • Yeah, I wonder if I start training my neck intensively if it would result in a lower bf % based on the Navy calculator :D .
