Oh, man... those eggs look perfect! I’m gonna see if I can work an egg into tonight’s dinner. 😄

You’ve broken the 170! Amazing work. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
-
Attagal! You’ve got this. In the meantime, just be patient and caring of your sick body.

@jadepearl He’s ten years older than yours! That’s why I call him our manchild. 😄 Yesterday was pretty liberating, actually. It made me think about what I really want, and cleared the way for a few more mindful decisions. Like understanding that I don’t have to eat, and I don’t have to explain it to anyone. Like thinking:…

Well Donna and everyone, I took your advice and stayed strong! Just decided it wasn’t worth it. Not only that, it was THE easiest fast day yet! The food today was perfectly nice (and keep it mind it was breakfast, morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea!) but barely a hunger pang and absolutely ZERO FOMO. I’m actually super…

Thanks @jadepearl ! I’ve never had, let alone made, roti jala so I don’t know if it was the way it’s meant to be, but they were certainly yummy! Well, I had two meals yesterday: Thai with my new work mates, which was good, and dinner with the fam. It was OK. But not feeling particularly great this morning. Not bad... just…

A big DISLIKE for bronchitis! Please take care and get well soon!
-
Sigh... I have a friend with hypothyroidism and some days she can barely get out of bed. Virtual (((hugs))) and admiration for how you’re doing!
-
Oh, no! Sounds dire - hope you all get well soon!
-
Yep - got it. It’s just that one of the reasons I’m doing OMAD at night is so that I can have a meal with the fam. I’ll see how I feel tonight.

Thanks, everyone! I'm really feeling it - I love that guy and want him with me for a long time. Anyhoo. This week's losses! There's no way I gained a bunch of fat around my hips in a week so I have to face the truth: I made a mistake measuring last week. I guess that's the limitation of the tape measure - you have to…

Decided to take a leaf out of @jadepearl ‘s book and try making roti jala, which i’ve never had before. Whoooaaa it was delish! So tonight’s dinner was: - Malaysian-style chicken curry - Tomato egg - StIr- fried greens (not pictured) - Rice - Roti jala Happy Sunday, everyone!

Quick morning update because I have to tell you all about my husband. Two weeks in and last night he was able to wear the jeans he wasn't able to do up six months ago! But far more importantly: since OMAD he's been cutting back and cutting back his medication for Type 2 diabetes, and in the last couple of days has stopped…

Holy cannoli that looks good!
-
Looks like you could use some (((HUGS))) your self. Get better!
-
WOOT! You're on fire!

Thanks, JP! And it’s another late night from me. We went to the movies and had a delicious dinner beforehand as well as an ice cream when we were there. Another kinda indulgent meal but hey - date night! - Mixed Chinese BBQ - Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce - Rice (not pictured) - Ice cream cone (not pictured! Tummy…

Oh, yeah - we absolutely love our food. Alas! So what are Ald pillow puffs? I love Aldi but have never heard of them.
-
Omigosh - scary for sure. The entire world seems on edge at the moment for one reason or another, and all the reasons are serious.
-
YEEESSS! Now I see where your reputation for consistency comes from!
-
No... what works in pineapple (kiwifruit and papaya) are particular enzymes, and the canning process kills them. It's the same reason why you can put canned pineapple into jello but if you put fresh pineapple in jello it won't set. And there's your daily dose of trivia!
-
Noice! And you're doing great.
-
WOOT! And check in when you can. :)

Why did I think you were asking about the potatoes? Holy moly you must think I’m in la-la land! Yeah, it’s just mashed butternut squash. Mashed butternut or pumpkin with a little olive oil was my mum’s remedy for when we were constipated.

Didn’t post last night because I was wiped out. It’s going to sound weird for a supposedly wealthy country, but our railway lines are OLD and when it’s hot they buckle and it throws the entire train system into chaos - trains run slow, there’s cancellations, people packed in on trains in 105o heat... Anyway. I left work…
-
Omigosh - that’s my meal! You make me want to go back to Malaysia! Funny because when DH picked me up from the train it was so humid because of the heat and rain and he said, “Jeez, we could be in Malaysia!” And I replied, “Yeah, except for the delicious food!” 😄
-
Yeah - and I think it’s worse. We had a storm that went for about 5 minutes and then it cleared and it was muggy as!
-
I’m a fan of red meat of all kinds. A few years ago I was diagnosed with severe iron anemia and DH instituted steak night and I LOVE it. It’s tonight! Can’t wait. Hope all is better now that AF is here - man, she’s disruptive!

These photos are sooooo bad. I love Instagramming what I cook and eat but normally take a lot of care. With these I really want to sit down and eat so I’m just quickly plonking everything on the plate and shouting, “Quick! Someone give me a phone so I can take a picture for accountability!” My challenge at the moment is…

Holy cannoli I can’t believe you worked out in this heat! Hats off, lady - that’s amazing work. I didn’t go outside all day and when I finally did to go home it was like WHAMMO from all the concrete at Southern Cross. I nearly turned around and went back in!
