That would be brilliant...if any self-respecting Texan would let the government take their guns. Cauliflower pizza is as much a salad as a pizza. Change my mind.

You haven't been doing it that long, I'd say stay the course. Other than that, our weight tends to fluctuate through the week, I'd recommend weighing yourself first thing in the AM on the same day of the week. Friday is probably a good choice as you might go up a little on the weekend.

I'm not sure what weight db's you have but if they're heavier, you could do stiff leg deadlifts. If they're light, lie on your front (on a bench or something if possible, grab one between your feet and lift. You could also do good mornings holding them to your chest.

A gym, lol

I recommend working on unilateral movements and don't go heavier than your right quad can handle. The idea is to keep your left from compensating. Lunges (lots of variations), pistol squats, single leg extensions, etc. Also pay attention to your form. You could favor it because of tightness or a previous injury. Make sure…

I'm sorry to hear that but you seem to be working in the right direction! I have no idea of cost, but I was listening to Mike Tyson on Joe Rogan yesterday and he was talking about a zero gravity treadmill that is low/no impact. Might be worth looking into?

If you're an adult, you should grow up and eat foods you don't love because of their nutritional value. Sure, have some treats but if you always eat for enjoyment, you're losing enjoyment in other areas of life.

Slowly add calories and see how you respond, in the mirror, on the scale and performance lifting. I add 100 cals/day and go a week or two, then add more. When I see the mirror or scale respond too quickly, I ease off. You want to be in a small surplus and an emphasis on quality food helps. Basically, be patient and keep in…

The coolest part of jump rope? You don't need a rope. I know, I prefer to do it with one. But think about it...you really don't.

I think I see what you mean. I take a somewhat less scientific approach; I don't adjust my macro targets, I'll just eat a little less on rest days to allow for some post workout sushi or something on leg and back days. I've been doing this fitness thing for a while so I can see how that approach might throw off some.

Dont worry about it, but keep track of it. That is a definite metric of improvement as time goes on! You'll want to look back and see the progress.

Ahh, fair enough. I didn't realize this was the debate section. In that case, my stance is that it's not the smartest choice from a health perspective which doesn't quite align with the marketing stance of imitation meat companies. I'm not going to choose a Beyond Burger OR a Whopper if a homemade 93% or bison burger is an…

Just seems odd to ask me to defend why I'm not a fan, which is where this started. Sure, they're probably no worse than a Whopper but I haven't been to Burger King in years and don't plan to go any sooner than I plan to have a Beyond burger; I'm not being inconsistent here. I AM judging them both on the same standards.…

The concern is just that I prefer to avoid processed food. Why care if I avoid it? I sure don't care if you don't avoid it. I always find it interesting why people feel the need to defend their food choices; it feels like insecurity. I know how I prefer to eat, I know what works for me. If someone says "I love Beyond…

Exactly. I plan to get a rack, deadlift platform, full set of 5#-125# dumbells and a few other goodies once stock is replenished. I'm not gonna be gouged for some old stuff now.

Yes, but a beef burger patty is made of beef. Beef is meat. No, burgers don't grow on trees, they grow in cows which is very different than a mixture of natural and man made ingredients mixed up to IMITATE meat. The burgers I make are made of whole ingredients, not anything that is manufactured. And yes, LOTS of processed…

It's possible your calories are too low but leaving that alone, fat helps with satiety. I'm going to guess you're from England possibly as you said "crisps" so you may not be a peanut butter fan as much as us Americans are but how about substituting a rice cake with peanut butter instead of crisps and possibly substituting…
