I found some old paperwork from 2004. My doctor had put me on a diet to lose 20 lbs because I was "grossly overweight". I was the exact same weight and size I am now at that time! Basically, I weigh now what I weighed in 2004. I haven't seen these numbers in almost 20 years.

You and me both!!! I've lost 39 lbs so far and I'm currently sitting at 259. My ultimate goal is to reach 200lbs. I've dropped from a 4X to a 1X and it feels so good!!!

I've lost a mid-size microwave and an average human brain!

I just had a yard sale and I emptied my closet of everything that was over a size 2X! I am in between an 18 and a 20 right now but, last year at this time I wore a size 24/26 or 4X. I'm filling my life with the activities I couldn't do when I was heavier. This past weekend my husband and I took my granddaughter to a couple…

Hi! I'm also a cat mom. I sent you a friend request. How many cats do you have?

I'm starting my second year of weight loss and learning to eat better. I've had some setbacks due to stress and life changes that I didn't have last year. I'm coming to the realization that I have to accept the good with the bad and just keep going.

I cut out grains and sugar. I still eat gluten-free pasta although I started out with chickpea pasta until I developed an allergy to it. I increased the amount of vegetables I put in my diet. Where my dinners used to be meat-heavy, now they're vegetable-heavy. This means I add 1-2 bags of frozen vegetables and a half pound…

I'm excited to do this!! This will be my first challenge so I'm looking forward to the weekly accountability of logging in and recording my weight for the week.

My most recent NSV is being able to completely wrap my arms around my husband to hug him! The extra fat had been preventing me from being able to get close enough to him to wrap my arms around him.

The very first little change I noticed was that my shoes got looser.

How discouraging it can actually be when people ask you what you've done to lose all the weight and when you tell them they say, "Oh, I could never do something like that. It would be too hard."

I'm one month from my one-year point in this journey I'm on with weight loss and healthy eating. My mini goal is to be below 260 lbs on July 11th. I would really like to be at 258 because I started at 298. Then I could say I lost a total of 40 pounds in one year.

I'd like to know too. I work for an accounting office and I've spent the past 10 days stuffing W2s in envelopes for about 8 hours a day. I know I burned a lot of energy.

I'm not exactly sure what NSV means but, from the comments, I'm thinking it's an achievement. My most recent achievement is being able to walk 3 miles without sitting down for a break!

Mine is a health related issue.

I am 43. I'm the heaviest I've ever been right now and trying to lose weight to lower blood pressure and fight off the dreaded family curse....diabetes. I'm in need of motivation and accountability as I'm the only one trying to lose weight at home right now.
