I slept so well last night & for so long (from 10pm-9am), I swear I woke up, thought I'd perished & was in a Pergatory waiting room... only half kidding. As a lifelong troubled sleeper, I can count on 1 hand how many times I've woken up feeling refreshed and/or sans headache. Uh, that's new, but I'll take it. So... this is…

Good post. My experience has been the same. Good luck to all us singles!

Great choices. I love cats, too. Hope to adopt again someday... kitties that is. Welcome to the forum.

The black pepper bacon & egg sandwich I made for breakfast was quite nice. Have a great day, All!

I'm beginning Fleabag today, so I will get back to you! I agree with you... Bateman is a quiet actor, but there's something very appealing about him.

Disclaimer: Vent post below. Some folks need to learn to diffuse a bit better... perhaps more exercise at home... myself included. I went out at 5:30am for mail, assuming no one else would be out at that hour. While walking on the narrow sidewalk, adjacent to the highway, a woman came walking towards me with a huge dog.…

Firstly, I hope your friend is okay. I've noticed a lot of people are currently off social media and/or don't email/call as often. We're all a little on edge of late & worried about health/finances/family. You can even see a marked drop off here. The forum is almost as empty as the bread aisles at stores.

Two great responses above. Re: ... a part of me believes that many eligible women have come to understand that starting a relationship isn't worth it, and if they are able to support themselves and be connected with Kids/grandkids/family/friends... staying single is a better option (not to generalize about all women, I…

I was & then I'm not. My fitness center in my apt complex is so small, I'm going to feel awkward using the treadmill less than a foot from someone else for awhile. My lease expires end of year, so I'm guessing I won't get back into it... probably will ramp up yoga & aerobics at home, since it's also now in the 90s with…

TY for mentioning Fleabag. I've never heard of it, but just looked it up & I'll be watching later tonight. Ozark was okay... I lost interest with the slightly outlandish plot lines (imho) during the 2nd season, but I know many disagree. Hope you enjoy it! (I may finish Ozark later... just because I really like Jason…

Wow, he has such a different sound. Thank you for this. I'm going to listen to more from him.

Lol.

Very Happy B'day to your mum! I'm glad you'll at least have a distant celebration! I know she'll appreciate it!

Hey, thank you so much for thinking of me! They were hiring near me, but have closed down the warehouse due to the virus, but... I will keep checking for local jobs. You're very kind, thank you!

I read your posts. I wasn't clear either... I was heartbroken. I thought you'd just had twins & had to leave them in the hospital, as they were ill & hospital staff wasn't allowed to let you near them just now. Glad I was 100% wrong. Hope you see your grandbabies very, very, very soon!

TYVM, I'm fine & fortunately, rarely get ill. Last night I read that S Korea & China are reporting 60-100 cases each of people who've become re-infected with the virus (that's only from those patients who were tested & diagnosed once before), so who knows how all this will manifest & end. Surely there are more, who…

Same, although I'm beyond 39... mine's on Thurs. Happy B'day... it can still be a good day!

We're all a mix of emotions at this point... those having to work/live with ill people, being in the forefront. I admire what you're doing & I do think some will have career decisions to make at the end of this long trial. This sure is a taxing time, in every way it can be on mere humans. I can't offer anything but good…

Firstly, be safe. And, I heard from a British dr (Dr. John Campbell... he has a YTube channel with daily updates) that CV began last year, hence the 19 in its name. I never get sick, but was stuck in CA hotels doing interviews late last year (forget the mo exactly... Oct-Dec, I think) for 10-wks. I was that ill...…

The preview looks great, thx for this. I'd like to see it. And, if you liked that film, you'll surely love 2001's "Lantana". Shot in AU, La Paglia is a cop investigating a murder... had no idea he was a native AU 'til I saw this movie... his NYC tough guy police accent is very convincing... although, that's the give away,…

I've got a dozen eggs left. That should take me through 2-wks before I venture out to shop again... although last time, there were no eggs, boo... & I have no mask, so... we'll see what transpires on May Day. Have a wonderful week, All!

A fave as a tween. Aerosmith "Seasons of Wither", my fave recording of the song, live in '07, before their faces were ravaged by cosmetic surgery. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Nf8dclIXlI

Cravings are interesting & I think most crave sugar. I've seen my mum & both sisters polish off an entire box of Godiva in 1 sitting. I'm lucky in that I've never been into sugar & in fact, dislike the way it makes me feel (sugar rush), so can easily avoid it. I'm also probably the only person I've ever met who doesn't…

I'd wait another 1-2 weeks for the traffic to be less heavy & the store lines to dwindle down a bit & use that time to pummel the world with CVs once again. Then, after 1-2 weeks, Costco to spend far too much $ on far too many food items, followed by a walk on the beach.

Same. Came from self preservation. That's me smiling at you in case no one could tell.

I've lived on 4 continents, 7 countries & over a dozen states... stopped counting at 12. I admire those who've built a peaceful, loving home life with a partner & have sustained it, especially those who've brought kids into the world.
