If you did that each day that is almost 700 calories extra a week. If you did that with multiple foods per day then you can see how…

Chickpea pasta, pan seared chicken seasoned with garlic, thyme, rosemary, and basil, a white wine reduction sauce with cream, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, brussel sprouts, topped with fresh grated parmesean cheese. So yummy. Leftovers for dinner tomorrow

Ugh people can be so cruel sometimes. Best to put in your headphones and block out the empty-headed chatter. While you are working hard to improve yourself, they are stuck in their ways. I started at 307lbs( hit my 30lb loss yesterday  ), so I can relate to the stares and rude comments, but at the end of the day…

Lowering my A1C out of the pre-diabetic range by my next check-up in December. I got the diagnosis earlier this month and it definitely snapped me into I need to do something mode.

This was fairly recently (I am just starting myfitnesspal). I snapped out of it when I was informed by my doctor that I was pre-diabetic :# . At this point I had already lost about 20lbs just from an increase in activity at a new job, but I was still feeling drained and exhausted all of the time. I have 100+ pounds to go,…

Last year was my first year of teaching ( I switched careers), which we all know turned out to be a strange school year. I taught high school seniors and it was so…

Moose. I worked summers in Alaska and it was a staple. Honestly, I enjoyed it more than beef

I am right there with you on the stress factor! I lost 30 pounds last year because of a new active job and eating better. Then covid hit and I started working from home( I am a teacher). I started eating bad and was way less active. On top of that I had a skin cancer scare that required surgery, which made me even more…
