I'm assuming the OP is in the UK so might not be able to get those brands. Not quite what you're asking for but couple thoughts as a vegetarian: If you are actually still eating meat what I would suggest is bulking out your cottage pie with brown/green lentils, so it's still meaty but you're still cutting down your intake.…

@Krista_Knits52 I've added you, I'm also a mom trying to lose the baby weight. ::cough cough from 6 years ago cough cough::

I put it down to having two babies with a 12 month break between and being up and down on the floor all day long as when it started I was normalish weight and only about 28. I saw a doctor a few years back and he didn't really say what was wrong, something to do with tendons and gave me a steroid injection. I've had two…

I'm not sure if I actually look worse with makeup or if I just wear it so rarely that I feel weird when I see myself in it. I've never had it professionally done though so that could be the difference, I just don't have the skill myself. Loving some of your selfies though.

Thanks @Lietchi, It is very aggressive but I'm very overweight so I tend to lose lots in the first two months or so when I start restricting calories. So that will hopefully give me more attainable monthly goals after the first 2 months. I've already lost 12 pounds in the past week just by sticking to 1200 calories or so,…

Also I've got kids and I have the tendency to not spend on clothes and things for myself as I always feel like I should save it for them. If I have a little win I'd feel more comfortable just getting myself some nice stuff.

@harper16 I'm paying $10 a month for ten months because I prefer to pay monthly but I could have paid the $100 dollars up front. If I win I will get $600. So I will be out the hundred bucks if I don't do it. Although I live in the UK so I'm actually paying it in pounds. It's a bit of a risk but I just thought about how…

In the past when I lost weight my alcohol consumption went right up, I even took up smoking. I've got a really addictive personality and while food is normally my crutch it will just switch to other vices. I did Dry January this year to support my husband who was doing it and then I just stuck with it. I'm happy about that…

You've done really well. One of my personal low points was having to get out of the bumper car ride with my kids because I couldn't fit the seat belt. So I completely identify with this Going on any ride I want to at the amusement park. I was mortified and I always hold my breath and cross my fingers when buckling a seat…

Daily short shower but I've managed to get myself out of the habit of washing my hair daily as it was pointless and not good for my hair. The kids I wash when they are visibly dirty. :D That can be daily or weekly. When they're teenagers and start to sweat I'll send the stinkers daily. My youngest has terrible eczema and…

That's amazing. I can't wait to be there too.

Gorgeous photo and well coordinated with the autumn colours :D I try and remind myself that one day when I'm gone the kids won't be thinking about what I look like in the photos, just that I was there in them.

Also feel free to add me as a friend :)

Me, but I'm on day three of calorie counting today :) I've told myself I'm going to try and change my mindset. I'm not going to be depressed about my weight. But be happy with every day that I'm trying to get healthier and be proud of that. I have children and in the middle of a pandemic that isn't kind to fat people…

I think for a lot of women, it's about the crap they get for being tall. Comments from strangers that are magnified when next to someone smaller than them. So it becomes a "must" for them. I'm a very tall woman and I always preferred tall men as short men could be weird about a woman's height. It makes you feel like some…

Yesterday was my first day sticking to my calories. A very small victory but I hope the first of many.

:) I'm so intrigued by this! it's cheating if you do it on a broom

Hello, I'm 37 and I don't know what I weigh, but I'm a size 26 and struggling with medical issues that could only be improved by losing a significant amount of weight. I've tried everything in the past but I'm going to give this one last go here and hopefully make some friends who can help push me.
