Felt like I should take it easy so decided no outside activities. UV level was in the red before 11 so I think I choose correct to stay in doors. Prepped lunch for the family then knocked out a slow and steady hump day 10k.

5 mile run 10:15 avg. 75% humidity. Some windy spots which helped with cooling off during the run.

Some of the best times have been with girls with lotso confidence(=skills) and extra lbs. Especially when a lady has a beautiful face not one daum problem.

Kicked off the week with a 5 mile run. Left when it was 84 and got back home at 92 🥵. Humidity was 70%. Didn’t feel to insane since I got 15+ mph winds on about 30% of the run. Finally back into it again last year after 20+ years hiatus. Pandemic was nice enough to wait for me to take a few years to work up to compete while being twice the age from when I had last run the Austin Capitol 10k. My name sake pants didn’t make it in time for 2022 race, but they were front and center this year.

5 daily miles avg this week. Sundays usually is my easy slow 5k or 30 min workout. When I looked at my mileage last night I saw if I did 5.2 miles today I’d get 35 total. Hey it’ll pay for a drink with dinner tonight. 🍻s to all.

Log it would be my vote. Fruits are in fact good for you and most people don’t eat enough however keep in mind that they are higher in carbs so for you to be a little more aware of your full nutritional practices just log them. Do not be surprised at the end of a week or several months. Let’s say you eat 200 cals of daily…

Sounds like you’re doing well with what you’ve started. Keep at the pace you’re going, and good plan to wait until you’re lighter before adding some inclines. Thanks… I do not use a pod. I just take what I’m getting out of the Apple Ultra guesstimate. The most important thing I take from it is distance and time. I know stride, power and many other stats could be fudgy data. I’ve been in enough races that the watch is spot on for distance and time. Only an ever so slight…

Hump Day 10k Call it my Native American 10k Purposely ran a comfortable steady pace. The humidity and heat have been crazy these days and no need to hurt myself while just trying to work out.

3 years back and well over 100 lbs ago This morning after hump day 10k run. Destroyed the new Father’s Day meggings and joggers kids got me. 80% humidity insured wet from head to toe. Glad I did it early. 🥵

15 cherries, 4 oz of pineapple and 4 oz siggis 0% skyr(Icelandic version of yogurt) and 20 oz of coffee. Perfect not to heavy to keep me in check for the Wednesday morning hump day 10k run.

Grilled portobello bun burger. Handmade 3.99 oz prime patty (was 6 but things shrink 😩😝)Avocado, spinach, slice of cheese, tomato, onions, mustard and ketchup. Messy as hell, but worth the mess.

Have knocked out 20 miles of runs outdoor and indoor between Mon-Thurs. Will likely do an early morning 10k tomorrow before the heat crawls up. The humidity has been unrelenting this week. It’s been manageable if done early before the sun starts the beat down.

I never actually missed a day of working out during my 1st official stint with rona in mid December. What I did is just dialed it back to walking and then eased back into interval walk/jogging.
