  • Sometimes scales have a weird memory setting, standing on it carrying something heavy before weighing yourself should stop it from being right to the decimal. Water weight fluctuations are normal. I spent 2 weeks going from 1 pound up to 1 pound down and then back up 1 pound and then down 1 pound. I ate 40 crackers the…
  • I spent all April sitting on the couch, only getting up for food and to pee, I went grocery shopping once a week.. that's all I did, then after all day of couch sitting I went down and laid on the bed til it was time for bed lol.. I lost about 8 or 9 pounds. I've got weight to lose tho. But it is possible to lose and do…
  • No, it's not possible, you will have to do this manually for now
  • Hahaha... it looks like DDR on drugs
  • When you sign up your put in your age, weight and height, select your activity level before exercise and it gives you a calorie goal. You can also do this by selecting "goals" in the menu
  • Calorie deficit is the only suggestion you need. That's how weight loss happens, everything else is voluntary

  • If you're in deficit, then actual gain isnt possible, water weight gain however is if you've been consuming more then usual.
  • The 100g is just the edible portion, so you would have to weigh them cooked and then weigh the bones after and do the math. Google suggested that on average, a 100g portion is like 4 wings, so if you wanna stop at 100, I would check and see where you're at after lol.. And make sure you use an entry for cooked chicken wings…
  • I wonder if that varies from app to app.. When I was at home all month, I had myself set to sedentary, I made about 100 steps or so just getting up to eat and pee and it would add extra calories to my calorie goal.. only like 3 or 4 but it definitely wasn't assuming any steps lol This was using the pacer app btw.. I dunno…
  • Unsafe and unrealistic weight loss. This is not a standard you should be proud to set for people who are doing weight loss appropriately
  • If she adds you as a friend there should be an option if she views your diary to "save meal"
  • Healthy choices are going to be based on what you like not what others like.. I'm not a fruit eater and I have very few veggies that I like.. If people told me I had to eat fruit and veggies I didnt like to be eating healthy, I'd be either frustrated and quit or be miserable trying to eat them when I dont like them. I hit…

  • I would assume so.. Honestly rice and stuff annoys me, I had this conversation last night with a friend. The box I have says 30g is 110 calories or 125ml prepared. However rice isnt a liquid but I imagine they mean half a cup. However the box also says 2 servings is half a cup of uncooked rice, however a half a…
  • Yes. You definitely are. You need a minimum of 1500 calories a day NET for a male, and that is if you are short and sedentary, and those are two things you are not. You are starving yourself, you might feel great now, but you wont and you are sacrificing your lean muscle and your health to lose weight unreasonably fast…
  • Well calorie deficit is all you need. Not keto or this gut whatever program the poster above mentioned, dont make things more complicated, just eat the foods you love within your calories, if you workout, eat those calories back
  • Is there a possibility you can change your window? 12 to 8? Something closer to bed time? Perhaps you are more successful at refraining from eating earlier in the day then you are at night?
  • So many things here to address. 1. Yes, 1000 calories is way too little. When you signed up, mfp asked you questions and gave you a calorie goal? What was it? You need to eat that many calories. 1200 is the minimum a female needs, eating under it is risking your health and you need to not eat 1000 calories. 2. You can eat…
  • People always hit disagree on tough love comments. Lol Seriously, not everything needs to be dipped in sugar and coddled. Lol.. Everyone is special and deserves a trophy for waking up each day, right? No one should be told they gotta work for what they want and not always rely on someone else to push them forward and do it…
  • No. What are you even talking about? Track your calories and that's it. That's all you need.
  • Or work that drink into your calories.
  • If you contact mfp they should be able to help

  • Also... bmr is the body in a coma, without digestion, RMR is the body at rest, also, starvation mode is a myth, the body doesnt store fat just because you're under eating, the body continues to burn what's available to you... if you feed it 900 calories, it burns those 900 plus whatever is available, lean muscle, etc, your…
  • No. The only way to remove fat is by calorie deficit, you cant spot reduce, you have to wait for that fat to disappear as you go
  • I watched a video of a girl who lost over 150lbs and then she decided to eat the way she used to at 300lbs for a day and then show people how 1 day doesnt do anything. She ate all day, including a whole large pizza to herself and got on the scale at the end and showed her weight, she was up... after a couple days she…
  • Portions dont have to be big for them to be calorie dense. https://youtu.be/vjKPIcI51lU Watch this video, it shows you how much just small amounts can add up huge Edit: the video doesnt seem to wanna play for me lol.. here is the link written out youtu.be/vjKPIcI51lU
  • If your eating and meeting your macro goals, then it's fine to eat sweets, but if not, look at where you're lacking, if you arent hitting protein and fat goals, eat some high protein foods, like deli meats or cottage cheese, greek yogurt, etc, fats? Same thing, avocado, cheese.. anything with a higher fat content. Snacks…
  • My suggestion would be to change your relationship with the scale, stop seeing it as you as a weight and use it as a tool to understand you as a whole, people always go to such great lengths to avoid water weight fluctuations, but why make the journey that much harder when it's not even real weight.
  • Okay but your calorie goal already includes a weight loss deficit, so even if you never did any exercise, you would still lose.
  • You drop water weight on your own, you dont need to do anything besides just eat normally, I lost 2lbs of my water weight yesterday, more will drop today and probably some more tomorrow, you just gotta wait it out
