  • Greetings to all and happy Martin Luther king day here in the US. I enjoyed people sharing about how weekdays or weekends differ in terms of eating. @etolv i appreciate what you said about exercise as celebration. I do feel that way about it too. It’s been a strange couple of weeks. Definitely I’ve had a couple of bingy…
  • Hi everyone just checking in. Getting back to work this week and it is always a mixed bag. I am not restless and bored which distracts me from mindless eating, but I also feel stressed at times. Which is easier for you in terms of meeting goals... work days or days off? Wishing you all the best with your goals this week!
  • @Pokadot89 welcome! I think it’s really important to find friends here that can support you. What kid of support do you think would help? Posting here and receiving feedback? • @BronTonRollyBeau glad you’re here! What are your specific goals? How’s it going in Australia? You probably could be enjoying smoothies since it’s summer 😊
  • @bumpbreakcar Im glad that you’re going to be checking in more regularly... did you set a more specific goal regarding this like x times a week? I’m trying to figure out how to do this. Also I like your smoothie recipe. My daughter was making smoothies all summer but has stopped making them in the winter because it feels…
  • @Steph_135 I know just what you mean about feeling like I deserve snacks that derail me. I’m going to be working in that a lot this year, trying to be balanced about treat foods. What works for you in this area?
  • @hollyfit05 welcome and good luck with your goals! Tell me more about your clean eating, I’d love to learn more. I think walking daily is an awesome goal. It’s such a perfect exercise. Do you live somewhere where you can walk outside daily?

  • Hi everyone and happy holidays... it is nice to be here supporting each other. I took two days off for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as planned. It was indulgent and fun. Today I ate strangely because I took a road trip within New Mexico and because I still have candy left over from the holiday, but I still logged. I am…
  • Good morning everyone and welcome to the new people .. the more the merrier! Checking in this morning to keep my head focused on my goals. Still doing ok with logging but have been hungry at night. I need to make sure my meals are more satiating. Bought some Christmas treats and stashed them under the tree so that I…

  • @beshamama I know what you mean, it can be tough to balance all the different emotions and complicated goals. I like your simple goal and it mirrors mine. I have had a couple of weeks that I’ve been eating more, but I am keeping up with the logging, and I’m hoping that will make a difference even as I’m not perfect.…

  • Hi everyone! How was your week? Mine has been good. Weighing myself tomorrow but I have met my goal of daily logging and mindful eating. I realized that during this pandemic I have at times turned to food as a form of entertainment. This is human for me, but I want to enjoy my food without overeating so that I feel good in…
  • Good morning everyone... doing ok this week, even with thanksgiving so that was good. It’s so important for me to still enjoy food. A food centered holiday like Thanksgiving is a challenge for weight loss but I still did it. Did well with logging food most days this week. Celebrating my successes!

  • Hi everyone, I appreciated the comments about snacking. Paying more attention to what I eat is helping me be aware of whether or not I’m eating out of boredom or hunger. I logged every day this week and was under my calorie goal, so I am off to a good start. I’ll keep trying. Wishing everyone the best with their goals !
  • Hi everyone, just saying hi and checking in, I met my goals today both eating and exercising so I feel good. What are your goals and what’s working for you to meet them? I am working on logging every meal, eating mindfully, and avoiding late-night snacking. Also being aware of my hunger in a better way, getting used to…
  • Hi everyone, a good day today and I want to wish everyone a good week. Still working on my goals which are... jogging everything, eating mindfully, and avoiding late night snacking. Today I used the laptop version of mfp and it gave me this cool little pie chart. But my snacks were as much as any of the meals! Is that good…
  • Hi everyone! I’ve been away for a while but I’m back. Wanted to post my goals to hold myself accountable. 1. Log meals 2. Weigh in weekly 3. Mindful eating 4. Paying attention! Looking forward to supporting and getting support!

  • That was pretty vague just now...let’s try again. I don’t want to obsess about dieting and food, but I’ve been turning to food in boredom and restlessness during this lockdown. I love exercising and am in good shape, but if I’m not attentive to how I eat, I’ll gain weight. That’s what has happened in the past month or so.…
  • Hi there, I’m trying to get back on this. I’ve been overeating during lockdown and want to kick that habit. I enjoy exercise but struggle with emotional eating. I’m 51 and am very grateful for my life but want to maintain a sense of control and fitness as I age. Tell me about you and let’s support each other!
