  • My name is Nikki. Claire is my granddaughter. Bubbe means grandmother in Yiddish, hence, Clairesbubbe. I have lost 7 lbs so far. Probably started 2 months ago. I have another 7 to lose to get to my goal weight of 115. I'd like to lose it by yesterday! I don't mind losing slowly as long as it's consistent. I am having a…
  • Hi All! I am 73 and have gained around 12 lbs. I'm used to being small (5'1"tall) and this extra weight is getting me down. I started at 129 and I'm down to 124. I exercise most days. I am limiting my calories to around 900 - 1000 per day. I know it's not much, but my resting metabolism says I can have 1050 calories a day…
  • Kelcey, Putting a pup to sleep is so hard. I had to to that around two years ago. It was horrible, but I had no choice. She was blind, deaf and had terrible arthritis. I am so sorry.
  • I am 73 and have been working out for over 20 years. Now that I'm stuck at home, I alternate 3 different workouts. I also go hiking once a week. I started out at 129. My goal is 115. I was down to 124, but this week I gained a pound and I don't know why. I am eating between 900 and 100 calories a day. I am 5' tall. I know…
  • The only sweet I keep in my house is 85% dark chocolate. I have one square every night and make it last. it's only 58 calories.
  • I have one for lunch. I am usually hungry several hours afterwards so I have either cottage cheese or an apple. I use Procaps chocolate secure with a cup of dark chocolate almond milk. I add some water and shaved ice then mix it in a bender. it's a complete meal replacement. The water doesn't dilute the flavor but it…
  • I only need to lose 8 more lbs. But I'm 73. I workout everyday, but don't do as much cardio as I should. Since covid 19, I have been mostly staying home. I need to eat under 1000 calories a day to lose.
  • I am working with a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. I am counting calories with this app. It says I need to eat 1200 per day to keep a steady weight. I am aiming for between 950 - 1000. My doctor says I need to eat 1150 to maintain. The big issue it I am not nearly as active as before the virus. I work at…
  • three kettle bell exercises, four different abs, ab wheel, Inner, outer and inner thighs with a band, Bicep curls, obliques with kettle bell, triceps with a band and 11 lb barbell, shoulders with 11 lb. barbell, tricep kickbacks with 11 lb. barbell
  • My doctor has a scale that gives all kinds of info. My resting metabolism of 1150 comes from my annual physical . I also googled calories for my weight, age and height and it was the same thing. If I go above 1100, I either gain or don't lose. I am not nearly as active as I was before covid 19 struck. I still workout, but…
  • I had lipo for saddle bags a while ago. It was the best thing I ever did. Now I'm trying to save money for a tummy tuck. I was 200 lbs in my 9th month with my son. At 35 at the time, the elasticity was gone so I have a lot of extra skin. My abs are tight, so I just need t have the skin removed.
  • I am a personal trainer. Since the Y is closed, I have developed three alternating workouts. I have found a great Barre workout online that is total body. Then I made up my own using weights, bands and kettle bells. I also do a workout using an EZ Shaper Pro that I also found on line.
  • Good luck! it seems as though you're on the right path
  • I am counting calories on here. The big issue is that I only need 1150 calories a day to maintain my weight. That's not much, so to lose, I almost have to stay hungry. I have an eating disorder, so I can't keep anything in the house that I might snack on except friut.
