I have not been able to lose weight

I am 73 years old. I had been working at the Y prior to it's closing due to corona 19. I have gained around 10 -11 lbs and I cannot take them off. I still do at home workouts at least 5 days per week, but otherwise my activity level is way down. I am mostly in my house alone since my husband is working. I know my issue isn't much compared to most people who need to lose weight, but my body image is terrible so this extra weight is affecting me badly mentally. support would be very helful.

Has your diet/eating habits changed? Weight gain/loss is about 75-80% food rather than exercise. Such a lot of us have fallen into stress eating lately or just being out of our regular routines with having to stay in so much. Are you counting your calories on here?1

I am counting calories on here. The big issue is that I only need 1150 calories a day to maintain my weight. That's not much, so to lose, I almost have to stay hungry. I have an eating disorder, so I can't keep anything in the house that I might snack on except friut.0

Are you certain about the 1150 per day? I'm 62 and 5ft. I also home workout minimum 5x a week, 45 minutes a day. Calculator.net says at my current weight of 114 with moderate exercise 4-5x a week, maintenance is 1463, lose .5 weekly is 1,213. What did you use to get 1150 maintenance?2

My doctor has a scale that gives all kinds of info. My resting metabolism of 1150 comes from my annual physical . I also googled calories for my weight, age and height and it was the same thing. If I go above 1100, I either gain or don't lose. I am not nearly as active as I was before covid 19 struck. I still workout, but I am not working because the Y is still closed. When we reopen, I will be more active. I am 126.8lbs. right now and I want to get down to 117.0

How are you counting your calories? Are you weighing and logging everything that you eat?
With how little you are wanting to lose healthy weight loss is .5 lbs a week. When you enter your info into mfp what does that set your calories to?
And, since you mentioned an eating disorder consider reaching out to your medical team for advice regarding your calories.0 -
I am working with a therapist who specializes in eating disorders. I am counting calories with this app. It says I need to eat 1200 per day to keep a steady weight. I am aiming for between 950 - 1000. My doctor says I need to eat 1150 to maintain. The big issue it I am not nearly as active as before the virus. I work at the Y and was on my feel 4 -5 hours per day several days a week. I am going to go back when they reopen as long as I feel it is safe. It is too hot to walk right now.0
