This is my second try at this. First time actually went really well but fell off the wagon. It's my birthday month too @sassbag and I want to thank you for keeping these going. Best of luck everybody. Be kind to yourselves. July 4: 71.1Kgs July 8: July 15: July 22: July 29: July 31:

I'm annerliegh.p on fitbit but I'm only a new user so no idea how it works. Unless you want to compete on sleep quality; I'm kicking goals there ;)

@tbridges273 Good work! I'm working towards achieving 10kgs and have been working towards it since end of May. Pretty happy with consistent but sustainable loss. I might look up some ice cream treats I can control tho!

It was a few different things: not being able to wear sundresses I'd made, becoming unwell with autoimmune diseases, seeing my ruddy face in a bloody zoom meeting. But the motivator was reading a book called 'Conquering Fat Logic'. It's not for everyone, but it was frankly written. And the writer said something like 'stopβ¦

Hiya, I've started taking it about a week ago. Never even heard of it until I went to a new endocrinologist for hashis and graves. Happy to compare notes @satoriochid

I do my best like most of us. My one good strategy is sticking with the one thing I can control every day. I make breakfast. I keep it at 300 cals regardless (i.e. weetbix, 100mls milk and a banana OR egg and lean bacon on a mcmuffin). If I don't log, I still did one good thing every day. There's this great site someoneβ¦

I like vita-weets with a thin slice of cheese and vegemite. A boiled egg Cheese and a few crackers. Corn thins and a slice of turkey and lettuce. Small potato baked in foil no oil, and light yoghurt. Sweet potato might be alright too.

@liljroe8888 pick a simple strategy (like a sensible calorie deficit) and pick a good period of time (maybe 6 months). You'll see change and hopefully you'll be good enough to yourself to say, yep, I can do this. I thought I'd never shift weight and I did. I still have more to go, but I broke it into milestones and put inβ¦

Hi, I'm about one month in now. I've used MFP years ago when I was (trying) to run, but gave up after feeling terrible after every run. Turned out I had Hashimotos and very low iron and I allowed it to be the reason for giving up. This time I'm working on a simple calorie deficit plan, and working toward healthy on the BMIβ¦
