I lost 8 lb in a month, by eating 1200 calories daily. I'm a female, 5''5, and 140 lb, and even 120 is less for me. By all means, 1000 calories a day is deadly for you, and you must increase them to 1600, and if you hit a plateau after that, then by all means start decreasing your calories, like to 1550, and so on

I try to eat less of anything, like 2 tbsp cream in my smoothie, 2 tbsp greek yogurt, 5-6 strawberries, and the rest is water.

I thought an egg was like 80 calories. I am seriously miscalculating my cals. I eat 2 normal omelettes with nothing added except for a pinch of salt. I chose it from the database. I used desi ghee, also known as butter oil, or clarified butter, in my omelette (1 tbsp) . I used 2 medium eggs.

For me, mfp had set my calorie intake to 1200, but it was more than enough for me. ANY type of red meat and most white meats, so basically all I eat is chicken and some fish like salmon. It's not like I'm trying to be a vegetarian or something, it's because I just can't stand the thought of eating it and feel like puking, so it is something that I don't even put near my mouth.
