Veg-wise, I've had bell pepper, tomato, potato, onion, cabbage coleslaw, sweetcorn, spring onion, lettuce.....but, I haven't had many greens. I saw fresh Brussels sprouts in a shop yesterday, so I'll need to get some proper greens today and get on the green wagon again!! π₯π«π«π₯¬πΏπ

This week, I've had pesto - basil and pinenuts - yes, it's high in calories but I looooove it, frozen fruit - raspberries and blueberries - in my evening drink with ginger and turmeric, fresh fruit - grapes and bananas - during breaks, dried fruit - with yoghurt and muesli - for breakfast.

I like walking in a city park and, before my knees hurt, I started enjoying cycling round the park in the rain - few people and dogs, no kids and some other serious cyclists. Hopefully, I'll get back to doing these activities soon as I haven't done either of them since July.

@minstrelofsarcasm my mini goal is to get below 75 kg/165 lb. This week, my weight has been: M 77.5, T 77.4, W 77.2 But, I was at 76.5 at the weekend.

I listened to this podcast this morning about eating 30 plants a week. I know for many of us that's easy to get but it was more about the variety of ingredients from plant sources and I thought I might try to keep track of all the little portions and punches to see how many I have.β¦

My snowballing bad habits that I want to kick: 1. Resting & not exercising - I've had to rest most days but increased my walking this week. The swelling and pains are bad today though. 2. Ice-cream - I had two portions per week. 3. High calorie snacks: cheese, nuts, dried fruit - I didn't have any excess of these allβ¦

I didn't take a photo because it looked yucky but I had a gloopy breakfast of chia seeds, psyllium, oats, raisins, honey, yoghurt and plenty of water for consistency.

Salad brunch mix today: carrot with pineapple, egg, potato, cabbage with beetroot; the multi mix has cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper, beans, chives; the dressings are mayo and yoghurt; the carrot and cabbage salads are shop bought and a little bit sweet.

I had a 'what's in the fridge?' lunch today - half mini quiche, small sausage, boiled egg, grilled pepper, cherry tomatoes, sundried tomatoes, spring onion, mixed beans, coleslaw, hummus and a slice of buttered wholemeal bread. Didn't take a pic.

@mkksemail ginger shot is a drink that is made from freshly squeezed ginger and lemon, some have apple or spices added. There are several of these ginger based drinks and I think the Lidl version is the best for taste and value - especially the XXXL bottle. Of course, you can make your own mix, and I sometimes do, but itβ¦
