I wonder if it is syncing to different devices depending on if you are using your phone or your tablet? I would look into the permissions on both devices and see how it is setup. I am no tech guru, but I always just use my phone or desktop web browser and I haven't had issues.

I'm in the same boat as you, and what I find helps me is just to give myself a sweet snack. I usually like to have a rice cake or two with peanut butter, or a protein shake.
-
I usually try to keep it light before a workout. Something like a banana, hard boiled egg, protein bar or yogurt. I don't want to be overly full while working out because it will kill any energy or motivation I have. Post workout my go-to is usually chicken breast or eggs.
-
My lunch is pretty basic, but I really enjoy a tuna sandwich with jalapeno or buffalo. I try not to have tuna everyday, so I typically alternate with a sliced chicken breast sandwich with spicy brown mustard.

There is a HIIT exercise in Apple Fitness that I use. When it syncs to MFP, it uses "circuit training, general." Hopefully that helps!

Today was my first workout in a legit gym! I was very overwhelmed with where to start and not embarrassing myself, so I did 30 min on the treadmill (speed of 3.8 and incline at 4), walked one mile around the indoor track, did 4 sets of 10 reps on the bench press at 70 lbs, did 4 sets of 10 reps on the leg press at 170 lbs,…

I have been enjoying my Apple Watch. I look at it as a step up from my old Fitbit, but not an extreme jump. I think it depends on what features you are looking for. Garmin is great from what I have heard, but also is more expensive and has a lot more features that you may not utilize.

I typically try to up my water and potassium intake and maybe take an epsom salt bath, but that is just what seems to work for me. Sometimes it just needs time though!
-
I typically create a new food in the database for things I regularly eat. You can also submit corrections to items, but I'm not sure how far that goes. Nutritional values change quite often, so I wish MFP would have some type of "verify this entry" over time. Like once a year, have X amount of people verify the nutritional…

Pepitas on a peanut butter banana! I may need to try that!

I'm not much of a breakfast person, but lately my go-to has been an everything bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. I go light on the cream cheese and it ends up being around 250 calories. Sometimes I will just have a couple hard boiled eggs with salt or everything bagel seasoning on them. Side note: You can make hard boiled…

Thanks for all the tips! I think I need to work on my timing of when I am consuming each drink. I do enjoy the pre-workout, because it helps to get me moving when I don't want to exercise. Essentially just a caffeine source at this point. I usually shoot for 75-100 g of caffeine before I go workout. I think I need to work…

If you do end up checking out LMNT, I recommend trying a sample pack first. I was surprised by the flavors I liked and didn't like. They also have some samples available on Amazon. Be prepared that they indeed taste salty! I mix mine with more water than they recommend to tone it down a bit.
-
I personally really like LMNT, but I also try to drink some regular water afterwards as it is a lot of sodium.
-
Do what feels right. Remember, they aren't an all or nothing event. You can walk and run if you want.
-
Sounds like a shoe issue to me. I am in need of a new pair soon too, but I can tell the difference. FWIW, I like the Brooks brand. I used to be team Nike, but not for walking anymore.

Solo hikes are great! I am trying to fit them into my schedule more often, but this has been a busy summer. As far as mixing up my routine, I really don't change it much. I find ways to make it fun...I am planning a "coffee crawl" soon, with a 5 mile walk incorporated. I love checking out different parks and even different…

I am typically mindful of what I am ordering. I will try to order chicken over other meats, and I will order a water instead of a different beverage. Small choices, but they help toward my goal.
-
I just ordered the sampler pack of LMNT. I had some Liquid I.V. while on vacation last week and I enjoyed them, but there is more sugar than my liking. Hopefully these are good! :)
-
I personally don't if I am eating out or traveling. I don't want to haul my food scale with me. I just go into it being mindful of what I am eating and knowing that my weight is going to fluctuate when I get back into my normal routine for a bit.
-
I've been listening to the generated playlists on Spotify lately. I believe it is called Beast Mode. You could see what yours looks like.
-
Daily here. I enjoy seeing the data and fluctuations. I look at my monthly average if I truly want to see my progress.

Just for the record, the newsfeed is still there if you login on a computer. It might possibly work if you login on a browser on your phone as well, but I haven't tried it. I also agree with others...dumb decision!

I don't think it will make a huge difference in calories burned, but as @csplatt stated, it will give you movement and sometimes that's huge just for mental health. Any movement is better than no movement. :) My other thought is maybe you could get some of the smaller weights for different arm exercises while you are on a…

I think it is because most people tend to get into a rut when they are logging foods. We tend to eat a lot of the same things repeatedly because it fits our routine and goals. Seasonings/spice shake it up a little bit and make it less monotonous.
-
I like to buy the sugar free Propel powder packets at Sam's Club. True Lemon is also good, but more expensive.
-
As others have said, when weighing foods try to use grams, mililiters, etc. Also, I don't trust the food entries that are in the database since they are often wrong or outdated. I typically create a new food entry and log it myself. It takes a bit at first, but then you get into a rhythm and it doesn't take too long. Plus,…
-
I've found that the food diary really helps keep me on track and how to better balance my calorie usage. Whenever I quit logging is usually when I start gaining weight back. :)

It is a funny brand name. Probably part of their marketing strategy lol.
