@charmmeth I really try and lose about a 1 lbs a week. You nailed it to look at trends. Try an identify what is working and stick to it. It really is a marathon and lifestyle.

@sijomial 150 grams of protein is where I try and stay around. Give or take. I’m 5’8 193. Trying to get down to 163 lbs. Lost about 7lbs so far.

@ninerbuff To bad you’re not living in AZ I might have hired ya. If I ever worked with a trainer it would be someone my age or older. They know it’s another ballgame all together. We can still do it. Look at Tyson at 56. Being niner I figure your living in the Bay Area👍 I lived in SJ for 22 years.

@mtaratoot I say old man tongue and cheek. But, compared to most in this group I can be their father 😂 Middle aged yes. If 50 is the new 30 that’ll make me 33. I’ll take it. Diet, exercise, rest and having the right mind set. It’s truly a lifestyle a marathon not a sprint 👍

Welcome back! I don’t know what you do but I know an exhausting schedule will burn calories. It is better than a sedentary lifestyle. A busy schedules could be a workout in itself. I would find a diet that works for you and stick to it. After that maybe getting up an hour earlier and working out at home to save time. Start…

A lot depends if someone is working out while dieting down. I’m lifting and doing cardio. 35 minutes resistance 30 minutes cardio 10 minutes core. I workout 6 day a week but it’s moderate workout. I’m trying to keep my protein level higher. I do not want to lose a lot of muscle as my weight drops.
