Actually menopause I had been scientifically proven to lose body fat very very slowly as estrogen drops dramatically You don’t exercise lots more and eat lots less that will cause your body to hold on fat in shock Speaking as a 51 year old menopause women who’s lost 100lbs it is so much harder than aged 20-40

Depends on you health if you’ve diabeties or pcos plus lots are carb sensitive - if I eat an over loads carbs I gain lots water weight and it then takes weeks to lose all of it

You need to eat more your body will hold onto fat it happened to me I was 146lbs and 5ft 2 exercised a lot on 1200-1300 calories I plateuaed fro weeks in need a personal trainer upped my calories to 1665 and I then lost 18lbs in 9 weeks and loads inches
