I give in to the cravings and use portion control, log it, and plan it to fit in my day.

Blinds (shutters or roller blinds) Hardwood or luxury plank vinyl?

I tried on all my bikinis yesterday and they were all too big. I guess I’m going bathing suit shopping!
-
I did 3 Sydney Cummings videos (I have no idea how to share the pic like everyone else): 20 minute legs 20 minute cardio 10 minute abs

I used to use Daily Water - Drink Reminder. It would make a satisfying little sound to remind and glugglug noises and has glasses on the screen that fill up. You can customize the times, amounts etc. I found I wasn’t using it much though. I’m a good water drinker so I didn’t need it.

I have a friend who uses other Peleton classes in addition to biking. She enjoys them. But, there are so many great quality free ones on YouTube I personally don’t see a reason to pay a high monthly fee.

Same as yesterday at this time. Drinking coffee, getting ready to take on the day!

I have a Sole SB900. According to reviews (I did extensive research before choosing a bike) it’s better quality than a Peleton or Echelon for 1/3 of the price of a Peleton. They also have older models like the SB700 for less. The only negative (according to reviews, not to me) is it doesn’t have a big screen and app. It…

Yes. All the time. We’ve been married nearly 21 years (together 27) so it’s more about sending funny ones to make each other laugh rather than fishing for compliments.

Does your Fitbit have a heart rate monitor? MFP doesn’t take into account zone minutes so I personally wouldn’t eat them unless hungry and if I was exercising with vigorous effort (heart rate in the cardio zone for most of those minutes). 12,000 leisurely steps below zones doesn’t burn as many calories as 12,000 steps in…

Last night honey Dijon chicken, mashed sweet potatoes and steamed broccoli. Tonight will be maple pork tenderloin with caramelized glaze, mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus.

Swedish Dicks on Netflix Just finished Bridgerton. Watching Tiger with my husband. When that’s done we’ll try Yellowstone. We hated the first episode (boring, bad acting) but everyone says how good it is so we’ll try another episode or 2.

Humour. He’s got to be hilarious in a smart way.

We have an Oxbridge WaterRower. Its wood with a water reservoir for resistance. It’s the only rower I’ve tried and everyone in my house likes it. I don’t know much about rowers.

Purging and organizing is my hobby. When I’m bored I find a drawer or closet to organize or reorganize. I do have a “keep it forever bin” (a fairly small Rubbermaid container) for sentimental items but even that I go through occasionally. It mostly contains cards and notes from my husband and kids and homemade gifts from…

I want to live not just a long life but a vital, healthy life. I want to be able to stay active with my husband well into our retirement years. I look at my parents and husband’s mom who never exercised and didn’t know much about nutrition and how they struggle with physical mobility and I won’t let that be me. I also want…

I have done Sydney Cummings every day since last July. My physique has changed so much! I’m in better shape at nearly 48 than I’ve ever been. I love her! No need for a gym.
-
I hate the gym. I couldn’t stand waiting for equipment, the less than equipped women’s area, people who wear perfume or heavy scents, etc. I also found I always half-assed it and couldn’t wait to get out of there. The commute time and changing or locking up stuff in the changerooom was such a waste of my day. I did enjoy a…

I have a friend who used to always win those ‘guess my weight’ carnival games at fairs and Canada’s Wonderland. They always guessed she was 125 or 130. She actually weighed about 102.

My fitness goal is to do at least 30 minutes of zone activity a day. I have been doing that since at least August. It’s so satisfying to see the check mark on the calendar every single day.

I always feel like I’m heavier than I look too. I see other people whose stats are similar to mine and they wear 1 or 2 sizes bigger than me. I’ve always been this way. I have one son who is the same. He looks lighter than he is, and one the opposite he is so light but looks bigger.

My Fitbit app tracks and keeps both. For example when I track spinning with my Versa 2 it will show in the “exercise this week” section. Then when I add spinning into MFP the “exercise this week” section will show my Versa tracked spinning as well as spinning (from My fitness Pal). It adds the calories together as though I…

I won’t ever stop tracking. It works for me and not tracking doesn’t. I’ve tracked on and off for 20 years. When I am tracking I am healthier and able to maintain my weight. When I stop tracking my weight creeps up. I’ve been tracking for a year (this time) now and I’m never going to stop. It’s not an inconvenience for me.…

I drink the juice of a whole lemon in tepid water every morning to start my day.
