pulled my glute during my warm up so went light on the thrusts and hamstrings but got the quad work done!

Upper body session second one since deload and I popped 2 blood vessels in my back 😬😬😬

Yes yes totally get some places are much less vaccinated. In fact, I’m moving to a country with a lower rate myself.
-
Yep, it sucks to finally reach acceptance right with the end of a pandemic.

None. My systemic fatigue crept up in the lack of performance in my last two workouts. Deload week. This meant 4 weeks of productive work, 1 week of meh work and now deload. huzzah

I do this and LOVE not having a period. Sometimes I get migraines on what would be my period week, but they pass quickly.

Take a peak at "Squat university" on instagram ;)

Party foul! you must link the recipe ;)

I was in the same position as you and decided to recomp (see recomp thread). However, it took me about 1 year to get off 10lbs, nice and slow. I look way better now though. Cut/bulk may be your style, but being a post-grad and working like a dog at a big 4 accounting firm, it was not mine. just my 2 cents.

I have honestly done this both ways with the same result: maintaining my weight, despite deficit or maintenance and frankly occasionally a bulk b/c sadness from inability to exercise much. Granted, I was never injured for more than 8 weeks.

Hi there! Didn’t realize you went through cancer treatment. My mom did the same (breast) and is very active. I wish she strength trained and ate to fuel herself more, but she is trying to lose weight. You give me hope things can still turn for her!

Upper body day but had to split up arms from chest/back. All done though!

Was thinking about an upper body, but my legs locked up in the heat on my walk and now im scared to try a hard lift today
-
Upper body today and going to hit lower tomorrow morning :)
-
thank you! its not really about time but moreso my life schedule. after thinking about it, i will probably just cut down leg volume on my current lower days and add another full leg day. that way im not spending ages in the gym on legs.
-
So, I am trying to cut down my sets to see if I can still make gains with less work OR, if not, then to add in an extra workout day. Currently I train 4 day/week for 1-1 hr 15mins. Trying to cut down to 45 mins per session.

To follow on, I am adding 80 cals/day. It isn’t much but brings me to 2250ish per day, which is delicious.

Good to see everyone keeping their wits about them! I am back in the game. I was out of the gym for 4 weeks due to travel and illness. I lost some strength (and honestly a pound or two) but look forward to building again. No rush to get to where I was before and no sense in another injury.

on facebook feed. I am sure if you just comment or search splenda a lot you'll get it

First workout since I had achilles tendinitis and I did legs! of course only at half weight but there is no prize to get to where I was before soonest. Will add 25% next time and maybe some calf work.
-
first lift in 3 weeks! granted, i just went to move my body and not bother my achilles tendon but it felt good!!
-
Ugh cheesecake!! My weakness!! Dw it’s water :)

All, Lithuania!

more like they have lower calorie options within the brands, i think. but i guess i only use quaker for oats.

Bulk is coming to a grinding halt. Last week was my deload/work trip. Came home to a UTI and was prescribed cipro. The possible side effects of tearing a tendon scares me shitless so another week or two off.
-
Thanks all! I guess I was just wondering that at the end of mesos, set count gets pretty high...
-
Got mine too thanks to you!
-
I attempted to do a leg workout but got so weak I left the gym.....turns out I have a UTI :( This makes me extremely sad as I have not lifted for a week and probably wont for another week.

So, got an upper body session in yesterday but certainly not enough carbs for a leg day today. I literally have not used my legs in 2 days (planes, cars, sitting) and i just did 10K steps today and am wiped!!
